Looking for some ideas on what to put on my wolf. I am currently using the grave wrapping as a collar but on the look out for something better and still not sure on what armor to equip.
Things I am considering

Collar:
Grave Wrappings
?

Armor:
Leaves of the Forest
Flawless Black/White?
Hide of the Goristo

Please reply with what you currently use and any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks

On my pets (arty dog and druid wolf) I like to use EE Admantine Knuckles for the breaking DR. I have a nice clutch of collars tho for various uses. I sloted a Draconic Soul Gem into the collar, so I don't have to buff the pet with resists and it saves mana. I've also got a Globe of True Imperial Blood slotted to up the stat's.

I'm running Flawless White Dragon Scale docent on my arty dog for the fort. and I slotted with a blue resist auggie. Would like EE Livewood Core

Right now my druid wolf is at L8 and using a set of leathers with deathblock and a pair of wraps I put festival icy burst on before making into collar.

OP I got the idea for white flawless from Pilgrim, because it's bear of a challange to get the EE Livewood Core to drop :D

TY again Pilgrim1!!! I slotted +7 resist and it works like a champ. My dog is EE viable both with group scaling and solo.

If I craft a reptillian bane collar for the dog, will it make a mess of the Yuan-ti (Well in ES)?

Can the doggy/wolfie use the buffs on the airship???

Can the doggy/wolfie use the buffs on the airship???

Shrine buffs only not NPC buffs.

I like the draconics soul gem idea and my main's dog is going to get one of those earliest convenience.

Yes, but are gone at death. Not the case with the gem.

Edit ~ The ship is a long haul from ES to rebuff dog and in general self. I use the Draconic Soul Gem on myself and EE Jeweled Cloak for a native 40% elemental resist that is full time and not gonna go away via timer or death. Please note this does not include sonic, so you may wish to still buff self and dog with sonic resists for maruts, etc.

I like Grave wrappings, virtulent poison, or Ivy Wraps
Armor, black dragon scale
Or, if you have the +10 seeker red dragon scale hanging around

Uses for dog in EE content aside from levers:

Park your dog at shrine or door on EE and set to passive. If the party wipes call the dog and have him collect the stones and run them to shrine.

Use your enhancements to turn your dog into a repair stand.

Arcanotechnician enhancement tree. Automated Repairs: You have installed automated repair systems in your Iron Defender. It repairs itself/and you/and nearby allies 4d4+1 points of damage every 18/12/6 seconds. (NOTE: Testing suggests that it repairs you every 12 seconds at both rank 2 and rank 3, while the tooltip claims it repairs itself every 12, and you every 6, at rank 2. And it is repair, not heal, so you must benefit from repair to benefit from that aspect of the power.)

For soloing EE I use the dog as a tank to draw and hold aggro while I gun everything down with my Quil. In PUG when the group is overwhelmed I will call in the dog from the shrine or front door to help alleivate the strain of the mob(s). Depending on the situation I will change him from passive to defend, attack, or let him use his own AI. He is good at tripping and knocking down baddies so the group can catch their breath.

There are even more creative uses for the dog, but I don't want to spoil anyone's journey of discovery. In EE puggin' your dog is you and your party's best friend when things turn sour. My dog is sometimes the only one left standing and fighting in EE. Staying pure arty makes a stronger dog. Add gear to that and stuff from the Arcanotechnician enhancements and he is a beast.

Did you know Buddy has fans and friends on Sarlona? That is why I rename him Buddy everytime I TR.

Edit ~ I also buff Buddy with Deadly Weapons and virtual hugs.

TY, he enthusiastically greets me every time I summon him and he does great work. I made him lawful. It would be cool if the wolf and dog got more enhancments for L20 and beyond. I feel there should be some at L20-25 and moar for L26-30.

Also this is what I'm running right now on him. I would have made screenshots of druid wolf, but he is only level 8 so his gear isin't that exciting at the moment. Please note the extra empty augment slots are a display bug. All slots are filled. This is just one set-up I use on EE. I have several more setups I like to use. Buddy has his own mule for his gear :D Wolfie my druid pup is using allot of Buddy's hand-me-downs at L8.

I have a level 7 druid with only found items. So far I use feeding most of the time so I don't have to worry quite so much about watching his bar and switching to ghostbane when needed. My question is, is there an easy way to switch collars besides 'examine the pets char sheet, open your inventory, find the collar you want, drag it to the char sheet, close everything....' and watch the rest of the party continue on after the ghosts are gone?
