EDIT: Holy Wall-O-Text!

I am coming to the end of my third WIZ life on a toon that has a few PL's (BRD SOR CLR BARB WIZx3)

Anyway, I am playing for fun, and I generally do not do EE content. I do Heroic Elite content...then hit level 20+ and do some easy XP for a bit for ED XP and then I TR.

So I am looking more for a level 1-20 build I suppose. I like having the ability to heal others if needed. I consider myself a team player and have no problem helping newer players through content.

I have played a lot of caster lives on this toon and other toons as FVS, CLR, SOR, WIZ, ARTY

I mention this because I want to try a "melee" build.

I enjoyed my battle cleric build...my WF melee focused FVS and my Clonk and a Tukaw I played...stuff like that. Have never leveled a successful true melee ever.

My point, if I play a "melee caster' I like still to have good spells (heal;/reconstruct and an AOE persistant spell like Fire Wall or Acid rain or Blade Barrier, that may not require high DCs (low WIS Clerics still get heal, mass heal and can buff and can kill easy monster with BB for fast farming on Hard or Normal)

Anyway, with this info, I am looking for a Pure Druid-melee build. Unsure if I will go bear form, wolf form or just use some nice staves and go cleave>greater cleave route.

I am looking to go pure, because I feel that is the best way to LEARN a new class if I am unfamiliar with it. Next life I may multiclass to try something different.

I have some questions...

1. Does Human Healing Amp work while in animal/elemental form?

2. Do HORC Great weapon (staff) enhancements work if wielding a nice Staff but you are in an animal form?

3. I read on here that reaving roar was "nerfed". How so?

4. I team up often, but I solo often as well...so are certain forms/builds more solo friendly and more party friendly?

5. Can druid get enough STR to land stunning blow...or is stunning best left to a Drunk?

6. If I did take 2 levels of MNK for Stunning fist and a bonus feat...can I stunning fist while in animal form?

Thank you for reading this and I know its a lot of information being requested...

Any information is greatly appreciated! (so you, the reader do not have to answer every question because I know there are a lot)

Some things I think I can answer.

1.) Yes

2.)I can't say for sure as I've never tested it, but I'd be very doubtful. Almost nothing effects your animal form attacks.

3.) It got its damage dice dropped. Still, it's very nice while leveling.

4.)Druids are very solo friends. They're also very party friendly as you're a great healer, heh, though not while in animal form.

5.)No. Use stunning fist. If you're married to the animal form idea, I'd still go wis-based, much like as if you were building a monk, except you'll have a bit higher str, since you don't have to invest in dex for twf (or maybe you would want to if it hasn't been fixed yet. No idea if it has, I've gotten conflicting reports)

6.)Yes, you can use stunning paw.

No. Because multiclassing makes you think more about the classes you splash, their benefits, their advantages, their disadvantages, and so on. If you want to learn a class, splash it.

2. Do HORC Great weapon (staff) enhancements work if wielding a nice Staff but you are in an animal form?

Nothing works in Animal Form except the Two Handed Fighting feat line. This is a bug, but feel free to profit until it's fixed.

4. I team up often, but I solo often as well...so are certain forms/builds more solo friendly and more party friendly?

More solo friendly are builds that allow everything: Trapping, Healing and Dmg. A Druid can achieve this when multiclassed with Rogue or Artificer. In party it doesn't matter at all how you built your toon.
