Created a clonk, 17/2/1 cleric/monk/fighter
Feats went more into melee aside from Maximize and Empower Heal, all level ups in Wisdom.
The character is fun to play, but the dps output is very low. EE content really highlights this. EH/EN this character can shine, EE.. ouch.
I'm just wondering what can be done to increase his DPS. Currently in GMoF, twisted in cocoon, primal scream, and *something which gives +6 to tactical feats-- stunning fist*. Uses Antipode wraps for stunning, and if he can stun w/o that +10, will use some crafted wraps from the ES challenges. Anything that can't be stunned, switch to dual Celestias.
Enhancements : Radiant servant up tot he aura, ninja for dodge, shintao for +10 offhand procs, war priest for ameliorating strike.
I feel I'm missing something to boost the dps, just not quite sure what at this time.

which melee feats did you invest in?
Improved Critical
Power Attack/Precision
Weapon Focus
Tactical DCs (Stun/Trip/Sunder)
Two Weapon Fighting line
Cleaves
Are you supplementing your melee with spell damage or using SP for healing purposes only?
Did you include Divine Might and Fighter Haste boost enhancements
Have you considered using Legendary Dreadnaught or Fury of the Wild? <- These have some nice DPS features, really nice ones when you have their epic moments
Additionally other EDs offers some different DPS options - Draconic (Energy Bursts), Fatesinger - Reign and Turn the Tide (Trash fights), even Primal Avatar has some nice weapon procs.

What are your feats?
I think it's going to be tough to have what I'd consider "good" melee DPS on a melee cleric if you go WIS based. I think to get "good" DPS you'll have to go STR based and give up stunning fist DCs. There's give and take...not sure you can have both stunning fist and good DPS from a clonk.

ah, sorry, forgot the feats.. I went with cleave, G.Cleave, Improved Crit bludgeoning, TWF,ITWF, GTWF.
My stunning fist does hit well, but then it takes me awhile to beat the mob down. Not an issue on EN or EH.. EE it's like I'm tickling them with a feather :) I think I need to ditch the scream and twist in something else.
it's been a fun life, just not sure I can ramp up the dps any more, and w/o that, I'm mostly a heal bot on EE, with an occassional stun and all.. I help with the dps, but just not much comparatively. By EE I'm mean the ES quests.. the old epics I still seem to be ok on EE wise..

Your build is built for exactly what it does. With 17 levels of cleric you should not be able to dps as 17 levels of barb or ftr or monk. If you could and still be able to self heal and buff and cast why would anyone play any other class. Your build is doing exactly what it should which is not a bad thing. You would Def be welcome in my party to do any ee. Stunning dpsing and all the while keeping your party alive is a pretty good thing.

One tactic I use in EE content on my Cleric is use of Enervation Scrolls or Level Drain Spell.
Even though they recover from the negative level effects fast, they don't get the HP back. This is a Good First Strike option. While it does not increase your melee DPS per se it does reduce how many HP you have to chew through.
I also find Enervation a good Long range "pull", and since it is a scroll, it is a cheap method.

I dunno if GMoF or LD is generally considered better for unarmed DPS; but Sense Weakness is an obvious twist if you've got reliable S.Fist DCs. +30% dmg vs. helpless mobs is kind of a big deal. :)

I cast enervation some what frequently, based on how much healing is being required. I like the sense weakness. Primal scream is nice burst damage in mob, and gives a couple extra damage per hit.. but the SW seems interesting as most trash mobs I can stun. I'll give that a try for kicks.
Thanks for the feedback. I kinda knew his dps wouldn't be top notch, but was interested in possible ways to improve it. I've tried a caster DC cleric before, and that toon simply ran out of mana too quickly. Couldn't really heal and do much casting. Haven't tried it since the level cap increased tho.

If you are trying to go with a clonk i think you must consider a variant of my build: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/435008-The-Akuma?p=5233316#post5233316
Mine is a deeper split because i wanted to grab manyshot and focus in DPS, but if you want to stay as a healer with nice DPS i think the way to go is : 17clr/3mnk
Advantages:
1. perfect stuning. No save
2. feat economy. you only need to invest in TWF line for DPS.
3. You can choose to go with WIS (for a DC caster) or STR (for melee wise) as the main stat, it doesn't matter because both will work.
Cheers
