Ranger build challenge ?? Anyone ??

I have a 6 year old tempest ranger build that I want to resurrect. He is 16 ranger and 4 fighter. +3 tomes on all stats. I only have greensteel dwarven axes on him...However I did get a free Pinion recently and thought about making an actual archery ranger....Thoughts?? I have plenty of resources to pull from. Anyone care to Help ?? Thx HANDI SMITH

Are you looking to TR or use your LR +20? What's your alignment? How many PLs? Etc. What exactly do you want him to be able to do?

No past lives..Just a 32 point build. He is Lawful Good. I have a lesser heart, a +20 lesser heart a Heroic heart of wood and an Epic heart of wood. I am all for TRing into whatever works. I was thinking along the lines of a lesser TR ...just to try out the archer line...as I have never really played that style so I don't know if I would like it. If not he becomes a Past Life and we move on OH and I HATE button pushing to make a toon work...sigh

The thing about rgrs is you already have most of the ranged feats, so even on a Tempest you can still get good burst DPS from Manyshot+IPS. And the Enhancement overhaul means you're no longer pigeon-holed into a single PrE per class; you can invest as much as your APs allow into Tempest, AA, and DWS, depending on your build goals.
