Hi all !
Many DDO years on my back made me try a lot of builds , either mine o from this forums (thanks guys for fun) . The last one i played is the Toaster of Vengeance , which i found really nice and powerful . Since i prefer Divines over Arcanes , i twisted the Toaster into a deadly toon that plays with light spells , doing an insane amount of damage , nice party heals , and above all fun to play .

Light Sabre ,
Human , for healamp , spell power boost , extra feat
Paladin : 2 levels for the obvious advantages
Cleric 14 , i really like 7th lvl spells
Favs 4 , yes it seems to waste 4 levels , but the damage boost you get from this is insane .

Lvl progression : C P C C C C C F C C C P C C C C C F F F

starting stats , 36 point :
8 str - you don't need it
14 dex - dump it to 12 or 10 for 34 or 32 build point
15 con
16 wis
14 cha

all levels in wisdom .

Feats
1 - empower healing , mental toughness , sovereign host
3 - toughness
6 - improved mental toughness
9 - extend
12 - empower , Always on on SLA
15 - quicken
18 - maximize , Always on on SLA
points spent on enhancements :
31 angel of vengeance , favs : 1 core , tier 3 eff. empower , all spell crit line , tier 3 scourge and just reward , 2xwisdom.
1 warpriest : first core for 5 more spell power
8 human : spell power boost , wis , def boost , con , heal amp
40 divine disciple , light : 4 cores , tier 3 searing light and nimbus SLA , all light spell crit line , 2xwisdom , divine empow , 45 light spellpower + 18 universal sp power .

If you wanna test it , make a lvl 7 toon with 6 cleric and 1 favs . get all divine disciple core line , crit , power and light SLA u can , dump rest in angel crit line . get empower and maximize , turn em on , and happy blasting :-)

Of course the epic destiny of this toon is the Exalted Angel , twist in what you want from shiradi or whatever .

Give me your impressions , and forgive the poor english from an old italian player XD

I might try this on my Morninglord life just to try it out. Looks like it could be a fun build.

In fact I made a morninglord for test . It is important to have the 4 favs lvls for the test , along with empower , maximize and quicken to see the full damage of the SLAs : searing light SLA averages 330 damage for 4 sp (270-360 range) ; sunbolt with empower always on is about 720 (here you'd like 3 lvls of efficient emp), all with standard morninglord equip . Interesting too the area effect SLA , holy smite and flame strike , but since at lvl 15 you get only 6 free enhancement points to spend on SLA , you got to test them separately . I don't use the first SLA , nimbus of light , since the others are fare better .

Have fun and destroy :-)

Is 2 paladin really worth it?

I've been looking at 15/5 Cleric/FVS, which gives you max cleric casting levels on most spells (15), and allows you access to t5 in AoV, for +3 max caster level.

Well , depends of your playstyle : saves for me are important , even if this build is not cha based , the pally boost is nice to have in epics . I'm testing another version , 14 cleric / 6 favs split , to get the aura of menace that gives you more damage , but I'm not so sure about it yet - need more time to play it.
I must say that the easiest way to understand if this build suits you is to roll an iconic and quest a bit . So you can compare the toon with other iconic-friendly builds and get your idea on it quickly .
Thanks for your point : your opinion is very appreciated and post more if you have time to make comparisons :-)
