Wheloon Mobs

I just submitted a bug report about this but was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue, we finished the quest Friends in low places yesterday and when we went to escort the lady to the mansion the mobs spawn rate went berserk like 100 to 1 and they just kept coming. We tried everything resetting the area, resetting the client and even went old school and reformed the party but nothing we do seems to fix this. Just curious if anyone else has this issue.

A few weeks ago I did this quest together with another player. It already felt like raid difficulty just in two. Fortunately I played a CC Wiz so Dancing Ball was the favourite spell to cast. I don't have an idea how to get through this quest without CC.
