It went away? Are you talking about the decay aspect? It's gone and good riddance.

Wasn't aware that it'd gone away. I still seem to be earning for my guild.

It's gone? You sure? Dev quote?

Last I heard it was just on summer vacation. I'm hoping it comes back soon. I really miss it. The game is poorer without it, too.

wait why would you guys care if its gone or not. it means no loss of renown. unless you really want to lose it. lol

The people that want decay turned back on aren't requesting it because it will hurt their guild - they are requesting it so other guilds will slide backwards. Of course if decay is turned back on it may not work the same way as before. MajMal mentioned in a post somewhere that the discussion he heard is that if decay was turned back on it would only be for the top 10 levels.

Some people want to make the game harder for others - especially casual players. Weird but true.

The renown system is gone for good.

If MajMal is right and they turn it on for the top 10 levels, I could live with it. some will brag their guild is and remains lv. 100 and others like me will not care as long as I have the best ship.

But I would love to see the guild leaderboards part of the API back up. I always loved to see the stats of my guild courtesy of DDOracle.
