(Everywhere I say -to-dmg, assume I mean -to-hit as well)

There's been a trend since the EP towards having more variety in stat-to-dmg on weapons....more dex-to-dmg, and the odd cha-to-dmg as well. I think that's great, as it opens up options for alternate builds and lets you sometimes enhance other functionality along with your weapon DPS, which every non-fulltime caster needs. However, existing stat-to-dmg still ties you into certain rather rigid 'cookie cutter' builds...there's just a few more cookies now than there used to be.

I'd like to see a prefix added to lootgen weapons that gives certain stat-to-dmg to weapons, just like the few non-lootgen weapons out there that currently have such an effect. I imagine they'd be restricted by weapon type, so you might see bows with the "Tight-wound" prefix that gives STR-to-dmg (as well as DEX-to-dmg as usual), or Daggers with the "Studied" prefix that gives INT-to-dmg, or longswords with the "Brazen" prefix that gives CHA-to-dmg, etc. That'd also allow, possibly, for these affixes to become socketable gems as well.

The advantage is that it lets you build non-STR weapon-fighting characters, or let your arcane/divine do some mediocre melee damage with the points they invested in casting stats, without having to sink 25-50% of your AP into unlocking stat-to-dmg via enhancements. The downside is it locks you into using a weapon with this prefix, meaning you'll never be as good as someone who DID invest the APs. I also think this would be a huge bonus to Repeaters and Crossbows, since they're basically useless except to the two classes who can acquire INT-to-dmg for them, which would open up a whole huge new array of repeater support roles and repeater Rangers and Paladins, etc.
