Spellcraft

Not sure this is the right forum but lets try. I have a lvl 26 sorcerer. I am trying to build up as much electric spellpower as possible. So I have 327 in electric spell power and a spellcraft of 32. I then buy bracers of spellsight 17 and put them on. I then get spellcraft 49 but my spellpower is still 327. Did I miss something or what am I doing wrong?

Too the best of my limited knowledge spellcraft is universal so it should stack with your electrical damage but doesn't show up under it. Do the bracers have any effect on other types of damage? Ill have to look at my sorcerer and see it should help though. I don't think it appears under the specific damages but I hope it counts I spent some skill points on it. It should apply to all damage from spells I think. Lol not much help sorry.

The bracers have +7 charisma that I am not using since I have a higher charisma item. Well the tread has been seen by so many now and no one answered so I have tried asking ddo but still no answer :)
