Gear options for wf ek 12 sorc / 6 monk / 2 pally

Hey guys I recently switched one of my characters over to a wf 12 sorc / 6 monk / 2 pally split, with build goals being:

* eldritch knight w/ gmof
* survivability in EE content
* moderate sustained dps

I am struggling on gear choices a lot, it would be helpful if someone could post some gear options that would be most effective on this toon.

I'd really like to hear some opinions about this question. I just returned after about a two year break, and I don't really have a clue about what equip I should look for.

I mean, when I left epic Abishai set and eSoS were the best items to have, and we all had ToD sets, Subterrane sets, greensteel weap and the best armor we could find until we got an epic red dragon armor.

I've no idea about the EK build, but I'd consider looking at Sireth for your Weapon, Flawless White or Black Dragonscale Robes and a matching Helm, Adamantine Cloak of the Wolf, Treads of Falling Shadow or Spiked Boots, and Ring of Shadows to start. I could be way off, but I'm really not up to speed on any sort of Melee Caster builds.

Wow - two years has seen a LOT of change.

Keep in mind that the cap is now 28 (and will be 30 late this year or early next year) so there's a whole lot more items to choose from.

I'd need to know your build, level, and play style in order to suggest any equipment. I'd go out with what you have, find some people to play with, and pick things up as you level. If you're on Thelanis, you can look up Melkorr, (I'm usually on after 8pm EST), and I'll give you some ideas.

Hey, your name sounds familiar, maybe we had some raid together back then, though you probably don't remember a WF FvS by the name of Alphirlian.

To stay on topic, my toon is a Bladeforged 14Sorcerer/4Pally/2Monk, focused on melee, and somewhat keen to staves (got already Sireth ready). I got arcane buffs to make me more durable and Reconstruct on 2 differents cooldown to keep me alive, while i cleave the **** out of everything.
