I currently have 54 Evoc DC at lvl 25 and will get it a bit higher by 28.

My 2 questions are:

1) What would the 100% no fail Evoc DC be for most EE.

2) Has anyone figured the highest possible Evoc DC for a Sorc?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge on the matter.

ps: no, I don't wanna become a magic missile spammer :)

I was sitting at a 64 DC for earthquake wich was pretty much bulletproof for every mob besides the assassins in wheloon/stormhorns and some mobs in highroads (where I had to debuff a bit to get reliable CC).

I know it doesn't specifically answer your questions, but I'd say 60+ is fine for everything that isn't a rogue or archer mob.

Nope, but still gives me an idea. So I ain't there yet, but heading in the right direction for sure :)

60+ is good. I've 64/65 and, with Solid fog and Waves of Exhaustion (72 DC), assassins still save often enough.

Not specifically. I haven't done any kind of Charisma breakdown, but lots of things are the same regardless of class.

You should be able to get at least 39 + your Cha bonus.

DCs:
10 base
+9 Heighten
+1 Active Wizard PL
+3 Evocation Spell Focus feats x3
+3 Sorc PL x3
+3 Magister Evocation Specialist
+2 Draconic Precise Evocation
+2 Evocation Yellow Augment
+5 Evocation Focus item
+1 Sorc enhancement (Air, Fire, or Water tier 5)
--
39 DC before adding Cha modifier

I'll let someone else do a Cha breakdown.

Wait... Evoc Augments stack with Evoc items??? If so, that's like, good news :)

Alright, thanks for the breakdown. Worked a few things around, and now have an Evoc DC of 60 with my Ice Spells.

Yes. They didn't used to, it's a very recent change.

Ya, tried it. It works. Got all the bonuses you mentioned in your post, except I switch the Wiz PL for Completionist, which adds up to the same, since CHA +2 = +1 DC.

Now need to max my CHA stats I guess. I stand at 56 Evoc DC at lvl 25. (I ain't staying at 25, but this is the level I optimize for. )

Edit: +4 Evoc Item, not +5, since I couldn't find one at for lvl 25.

The Sage's Locket is ML 26, with +5 Evoc and +15 Spellcraft, if you need to free up a hand. (Or the Heroic version is +4 Evoc, with ML 15.)
