Conjure bolt scroll not working on my rogue

Hello and thanks for reading this. I have a level 6 Mechanic rogue. He has a pretty good UMD that make him have a good chance to UMD conjure bolt scroll. So I UMD that scroll but got no bolt in my inventory? Is it WAI? Does it require to have artificer level to make it work?

Sadly, Conjure Bolts scrolls have been broken for a pretty long time.
So it's not you. :D

If you're using a great crossbow and not burning bolts like crazy, Flame Arrow Scrolls can--if I remember correctly--be UMD'd to produce 100 flaming bolts a scroll without the base component...

Worth trying, at least once.

I prefer wands since they weigh less (some of my xbow builds are, shall we say, STR-challenged); IIRC they produce 50 bolts / arrows per cast.

Cannith Crafting is your friend.

My wizzy's backup is a bow (he is an elf). I'll usually craft a stack of 1000 Holy arrows periodically and stick them in my quiver as a fallback for a low blue bar. You might want to consider something similar.
