After returning to DDO, sisters cleric now in dire need of revamp. Needs to lr to sort out spellcraft etc. Also, worth noting that this was her first character so partially build on premade game path and part custom. I looked at some 28pt builds for human healbot on wiki. I noticed that the healbot had been given 10 str? Why? Wouldnt that be better spent in con? Or is it just for encumbrance? Also, can you list good feats for healbot and what three feats should be taken at level 1 for healbot.

First, I would not pay too much attention to those VERY OLD builds on the Wiki. The game has changed a lot since then.

2nd, I would not ever BUILD a healbot. It's fine to PLAY AS a healbot if that's what you currently enjoy or is all you can currently handle doing at once. But as you learn the game, you might want to take on a more active role. Or you might find yourself in situations where you NEED to be able to kill stuff. It's easy to still heal effectively on a melee or offensive caster Cleric build. It's hard to kill stuff on a healbot build.

3rd, if you really do decide you want a healbot, and you're LRing from some higher level, no, you don't need any points in Str. A bit of extra Str often helps at low level, to prevent becoming helpless due to Ray of Enfeeblement, or encumbrance due to picking up loot. But higher levels, you can wear a Str item that will help that out.

You're only asking about first three feats. Is the cleric at a very low level? why not just create a new character instead, then? consider moving the build points into Int instead. Clerics should pick up at least Concentration, Heal, Spellcraft.

Starting feats:
* Empower Healing
* Maximize, Empower (for radiant bursts at cleric level 6; and SLAs from divine disciple tree)
* Quicken
* Heighten (if maxing wisdom)

Disclaimer: most DDO vets (inc. me) are biased against pure healbots. If you haven't invested at least some effort into DPS (caster and/or melee), you're selling your cleric short.

Most (all?) of the builds on the wiki haven't been updated in ages. For a 28-pt caster cleric, I would start WIS 18 CON 16 INT 10; that's enough skill pts to max Spellcraft, Concentration, and Heal. If you took a pally splash for Divine Grace, I'd do CON 14 CHA 12; that also gets you 2 extra TUs.

I posted a couple of WIS-based Evo-focused pure clerics here (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/432679-Returning-Cleric?p=5198070&viewfull=1#post5198070); they're 36-pt builds, but the feats, enhs, etc. don't change much for a 28-pt build. Since feat shortage is an issue on a pure cleric, the biggest question mark is usually if you focus on maxing out your DCs (thru Spell Focuses & Great WIS) or maxing out Spell Pen (which is important for spells like Gtr Command & Implosion).

First of all STR is not useless on a cleric. Melee builds need as much as possible.

But to address your question you will be helped tremendously by having atleast 10 STR on a caster cleric though. You need it for encumbrance and to prevent being enfeebled. I'd personally never go with 8 STR on any character.

And like others said, you don't need to build a healbot. Especially nowadays since there are so many cheap/free heals available - bursts/aura/amey strike/heal scrolls/renewal/cocoon ...all free or close to it. Huge SP pools on divines are meh. Even on caster clerics who now have a lot of SLAs. And as long as you have maximize, empower healing and a devotion item you can heal everything. My cleric has 19 WIS and only ~1500 SP, ~2000 SP if I go into Angel destiny. He is a great party healer on EE quests, and while I haven't run all the raids on EE, on the ones I have run he's been just fine.

If your really wanting a healbot focus on your spell points (wisdom) & Pos spell power , I would take mental toughness at lvl1 then my next feat would be empower heal & then I would grab quiken ( so dnt waste skill points in concentration ) skill points would go into diplo & balance ..cant heal if your on you backside all the time . get the highest devotion & heal lore item's you can.
