Rogue Crossbow Proficiency

So i TR'd my rogue into a Shadar-kai and its been great so far but i wanted to have a fallback ranged option ie repeating crossbows.. Can i get proficient in them by mechanic enhancements or do i have to pick the feat.

I wondered if Crossbow Training would do it but wasnt sure
