Basics of this build is to use the 2 Nightmare bastard swords from the free treasure boxes and the LR +20 to rebuild a current toon that I have and hate. I am still debating the 14/4 Ranger/Fighter mix. Level 14 Ranger gives me FOM and at level 12 you gain Deflect arrows. If anyone thinks that more levels of Fighter(Kensi) are better please say why. The final work out will have most of the Epic Destines unlocked at re-roll.

Personally, I wouldn't build for nightmare anymore. You'd be MUCH better off IMO building for balizarde instead. I also wouldn't build for whirlwind I don't think, 4 feats is just too much investment and CE at least is otherwise useless to you. You didn't mention enhancements, which is at least half the build now with the enhancement pass and can drive your class splits and class design. Will you have the DCs needed to use stunning blow effectively?

Optionally you could go 15 ranger / 5 rogue and get knife specialization and pick up 2 Agony from your boxes (or 14/5/1 to add fighter + haste boost and +1 damage) and farm some sacrificial daggers that will be 15-20/x3.

Balizarde is very nice. Too late though. Took 2 Nightmares already.
whirlwind=You are right. Not worth the 4 feats.
CE at least is otherwise useless=Yup.
DCs needed to use stunning blow=Nope. Not enough investment in STR.
enhancements, which is at least half the build now with the enhancement pass=I am finding this out. I have been working with Enhancement lists that make more levels of Ranger moot.

Some very good advice here. Going to adjust the "on paper" build away from Ranger and lean more toward Fighter/Rogue. Back to the Planner.
