The idea of this build setup I'm going with is to use Light Armor or a Robe (I say Light Armor) with Evasion, Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, Wraith Form, Blur and/or Displacement, to reduce all incoming damage taken. In addition to having the Palemaster with Death Aura and Lesser Death Aura, and Negative Energy Burst for self healing. Using Two Weapon Fighting, with Bastard Swords.

The one who this build is for wanted to go with a slightly more defensive route (i think) with using the Robe of Shadow (20) which has +40 HP, 16% Void Lore, and Inflict Light Wound to user upon hit (healing)... however, they've got a trinket with higher Negative Spell Power than the robe, 100+ vs 90ish? So.. it's my suggestion for them to use Light Armor, and see if it's possible to transfer Void Lore over to an alternate item to get the crit off it, in addition to the 6% crit the PM feats give.

I believe they wanted to go with a defensive route by how they described it, for soloing Epic Hard/Epic Elite.. although, I believe that while the defensive is pretty good, that it's better to focus the enhancements on attacks. It still has some defensive enhancements, both because they aren't half bad, and because it helps. Was debating on getting the Eldrtich Tempest, as they said it was a waste of SP for the Eldritch Strike, Eldritch Tempest, Death Aura, Lesser Death Aura, Negative Energy Burst and Haste all cast together, as well as buffs.

Anyways, the idea is to avoid being hit as much as possible with Evasion and Dodge, and then what little damage is dealt, able to heal it up via DA, LDA, Neg Energy. As I haven't played in EH in a long while, or ever tried it solo, Idk how well this build would work out fully. I do think that the Eldritch Strike + Eldritch Tempest would allow them to kill mobs easier and quicker than without. Also, the Assassin abilities on Venomed Blades (Anyone know if this stacks with Power Attack and Spellsword??) Shiv, and Bleed them Out would be good for bosses...

Eldritch Strike - Groups
Eldrtich Tempest - Groups
Shiv - Bosses
Bleed them Out - Bosses

In addition to Cleave and Great Cleave. Another viable option to rack up even more dps on bosses, is to add in the 2 DoT spells, Eladar's Electric Surge, and Niac's Biting Cold. While they use up a lot of SP in addition to the Eldritch + Auras/Burst, I think it'd kill the boss all the more quicker when stacked with haste TWF/Bleed/Shiv damage, meaning they have to heal less overall (boss = dead sooner)

If anyone can provide any information on this build before they LR+20/TR into it, it'd be greatly appreciated.

If you're going 12 wiz, you might as well go 13. 13 adds a lot, namely another L4 spell of which PMs need the slot and it gets you L7 spells.

The character is a MELEE, so going 13 Wizard for 1 4th level and 2 7th level.. there really is no point. The 12 Wizard is for the Wraith + Self healing survivability aspect. 2 Rogue for evasion, sneak attacks, trapping, UMD or whatever the points are to be spent on for him, and 6 Fighter for the 4 extra and highly needed feats.

I've been running a Dwarven Wiz12/Fighter6/Rogue2 Tank for almost 2 years now and its REALLY fun and quite effective honestly though I wouldn't put more than a few points into EK...the perma-tensers is nice but not worth spending all those AP and losing access to tier 5 PM stuff (namely improved wraith).

Anyways what MB says is 100% correct the 12/6/2 mix is pretty much set in stone for a build like this...the only way it would change is if the cores in EK were actually useful...would have like to have seen the spellsword cores merged into a single core than a Sword+Orb (or 1-handed sword + empty hand) line (3 cores) and int/cha to atk/dmg....that would vary the builds greatly

Basically, what you are trying to go for this time is the right idea, but you are splashing incorrect classes that don't have any synergy. Trapping is extremely weak in the current meta game and not required in any content - replacing two rogue with two monk nets you two feats in a very feat starved type of build. Fighter by itself is not very good either, without the ability to remain centered, and ranger would be superior to fighter if you want to go the TWF route anyway.

Offensive variations would look like:

12 wizard/6 ranger/2 monk bladeforged or wraith form (TWF celestias/wraps centered)
10 wizard/8 fighter/2 monk bladeforged (THF cleaver centered, requires LR to remove paladin levels)

Defensive variations would look like:

10-12 wizard/6 monk/2-4 paladin bladeforged (TWF celestias/wraps or THF sireth)

You should also be trying to fit in manyshot in all builds (3-4 feats) if you can, since it's not only a huge burst DPS option, adds flexibility, but is a decent +DPS over time too.

Well, I built a 14 wiz/4 barb/ 2 fighter that is a melee who is an absolute beast thru heroics. If it continues into epics I will give details.
