I'm looking to TR into something Bladeforged and I just CAN NOT decide what to do. I have a weird restriction considering this is an MMO. I like to solo. I played this game originally to get a break from guild leadership in WoW so I never really met anyone. Because of that solo is a requirement. BF is a requirement because I truly think Recon SLA is borderline broken now that we can LR into anything and want to take advantage of it + BF looks cool. Judging from what I've seen and heard about Juggernauts certain Melee builds can solo EE's.
I've messed around with full Archer/monkcher builds and LOVED the power but just couldn't fully get behind the playstyle. It felt really boring AND that's coming from a 15wiz/3fvs/2mnk Shiradi (I play it a little different than most). It also felt a little clunky so maybe I was doing it wrong I also didn't have pinion on Lamannia due to char copy problems.
Anyway I'm not a huge fan of Arti tree's so Juggernaut seems out to me. I've been thinking of doing an Eldrich Knight melee with Perma Tensers, Manyshot with a Displace and Recon SLA's.
I generally like a monks playstyle and the speed of their attacks especially Unarmed. Monk 6 for 25% incorp seems nearly required but idk if the extra 15% over items is worth that restriction. All that is important but I will totally be up for suggestions even THF ones. ***BTW I'm not much of a fan of qstaff animations.
So far I've thought of:
8wiz/6mnk/6rgr TWF with 10k and MS. Tested on Lamannia and its strong but REALLY is stat and tome(read:TP) intensive to get Wisdom to 40+ Str to 23base and Dex to 21 base and is just a monkcher which I didn't like much. I guess dropping 10k stars is an option
12mnk/6wiz/2rgr (or) <insert something> Unarmed/TWF
11rgr/6wiz/3mnk (or) <insert> TWF
8-12ftr/6wiz/2-6<insert> THF
Some probably terrible ideas:
12arti/6wiz/2<insert> TWF or THF
12wiz/6fvs/2pal or 12fvs/6wiz/2pal THF
ANY build suggestions would be REALLY appreciated and my thanks in advance.
Also any experience people could share on whether Melee builds of any kind can survive in EE would REALLY be appreciated so I know whether or not to scrap this notion.

Thanks I like the looks and discussion going on its already given me some ideas.
What I totally appreciate the most is that I had totally forgotten about that site and their conversations and builds seem different than the same old ones here.

I love my bf ek build. 4 cleave type attacks and so many self buffs make this solo friendly

~sarcasm on~ all Bladeforged builds can solo EE.
~sarcasm off~ most Bladeforged builds can solo EE. Especially if it has Monk in it.

12 fighter/6 monk/2 paladin
Kensei - centered with Greatswords and Falchions, Haste boost, Power Surge
Ninja - Shadow Veil, dodge, poison stance
KotC - Divine Might
Racial - Reconstruct SLA, Improved Power Attack, Power of the Forge
Master/Grandmaster of forms for +1 crit multiplier 19-20 in Earth Stance
Twist Dance of Flowers from GMoF for +1.5[W] and Bane of Undeath from US for Turn Undead to power Divine Might, then run in LD.
Pick up a Ring of Master Artifice for a free recon clicky and repair buffs
Still trying to figure out how to gear it, though :o
8/6/6 could also work, for more Paladin, but you really don't have the spare AP to make much use of it.

Thanks for the replies. I've been tied up with a few other things in life this week so just getting back to answering.

That was kinda been my feeling as well. Then I used a few fresh BF's EK and WP builds (starting gear only) and melee just didn't feel viable doing @lvl Elites which is what led me to writing this. I guess first I need to try a Ftr and Monk version and use Wiz for buffs and bluebar only. EK just doesn't seem to have enough damage early since I had to spend so much of my AP on EK to get to Tensers @15.

Needs moar COWBELL...er... BLUEBAR. I might just have to go 8/6/6 ftr/mnk/wiz

I wish Lamannia were active atm. I like all the non scrolled buffs of a EK build but it felt a little weak on the damage side. I'm more strongly considering a 8Arti/6Wiz/6??? build for a bunch of buffs. I will just need a decent melee tree which neither seem to have (unless I'm doing it wrong with EK and missing Arti melee potential).

You can try this build out.
https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/430398-The-Crimson-Bolt-A-selfhealing-metal-stick-build
I haven't tried it myself, but I'm planning on TRing into that once I'm able to.
I considered an unarmed build, maybe 16mnk/5ngr(to get some ranged feats in for manyshot damage+ 10% tempest off hand), but then I figured that although an unarmed build would get many more hits in(main/off 100% hit chances + attack speed), the stick build would have a crit range of like 13-20 or 14-20, 3-4x that of an unarmed build. Also, it probably would be easier to do without as many tomes, so... eh. Then again, higher wis + concentration for easier spellcasting...
I'd go the fighter/monk/pal build someone suggested earlier, but only if you have eSoS.
There's always Shiradi Sorc. Bladeforged get -2 to DEX instead of CHA, which I bet helps.
And now this Munkenmo Woodfist build makes me wish I waited before I spent my raider's boxes on Pinion and Sireth.
Actually, Antipode isn't that big of a deal...
Eh, for some reason I like higher damage over higher stunning/quivering dcs, but then again, not like I ever actually went unarmed..
Hum.
Also, is there a specific reason why you chose 6 levels of Wizard in your OP?
Never played one so I wouldn't know.
