Last life I went 13/6/1 rogue/fighter/barb. This life trying 13/5/2 rogue/paladin (+5 heart of wood in the bank)/fighter.
Am i the only person who will build an acro splash without monk? Oh I wished they would have made it so staff enhancements from acro and monk didnt stack.
Just seems that as all other classes have limitless opportunities Acrobat has been type cast with monk as a supporting role and a cameo from druid as obligatory. Oh well each to their own I suppose.
If however anyone is making acro's with other splashes would be glad to hear about them and how they work.
THIS IS NOT A ACRO/MONK/DRUID, ACRO/MONK/? BASHING THREAD. DO NOT FEEL THE NEED TO DEFEND THESE.

Well, a big part of why you see so many acromonks is centered monk builds are just kinda ridiculously good in general. Even ignoring Henshin bonuses to staves, you get extra feats, stances, Shadow Veil, etc.
Still, if you're trying to think outside the box here, what about rog 5 / ftr 12 / druid 3? Rog 5 gets you Staff Spec; ftr 12 gets you 7 feats + Power Surge; druid 3 gets you Ram's Might, Shillelagh, doublestrike action boost, Fatal Harrier, and Vengeful Hunter.

Truth to tell i like fighter and horc enchancements. will probably try a dex build before settling on final life, but at the moment tending towards str build.
Also not geat with twitch and monk would make to many buttons to hit for me.

TOTALLY understand the too many buttons comment. My Ginsu has stun, trip, cleave, great cleave, shattering strike, deadly strike, and the monk elemental attacks.....I haven't even added fists of iron yet, much less ED stuff and it's already too much. I still have to add fists and finishing move... I don't even want to think about running in LD with lay waste (which I might twist anyway), MS, volcano's edge, epic moment.... sheesh. And that doesn't count boosts!!!!

Druid is easily swapped for fighter, and might even be recommended for end game since shillelagh doesn't work on sireth. With fighter you lose ram's might and shillelagh but get +3/+1, a free feet, and access to haste boost for half the cost. losing 1 level of rogue gets you access to fighter tactics also, and another +1/+1.
12/4/4 rog/ftr/pal gets you the saves you lose by going str based and access to DM and some extra damage against evil, immunity to fear and disease, LoH.... not a bad split for a Horc.
