Probably a stupid question, but I still find myself struggling to reach the high amount of HP some bards seem to reach (many are splashes and therefore it makes sense, to a degree). Given I do put the better stock of attribute points into charisma throughout the 20 heroic levels, often tossing 1 or 2 into constitution. Also, I have false life +40, vitality +20, and elemental +20 items. My constitution at the moment sits at a 32, and being a drow I don't think that's terrible. Considering my dodge bns is 12%, and have perm blur/incorp at 30% and displacement spell, I'm not getting hit as much as I used to, and with over 100% fort and saves in the 50 range, spells/crits/SA aren't doing a whole lot. Rarely will something actually incapacitate me (on EH). EE I'm sure is an entirely different beast to deal with.
All this to say I sit at 600 or so HP in epic levels. I did trade toughness for a spell oriented feat, seeing as it only adds 30 hp when capped (which, to me, feels sort of like a waste of a valuable feat slot that is oh so difficult to decide on with a bard). My base con is not quite high enough to be able to take epic toughness either, which the combination of both would make expending the first feat more worthwhile, imho.
Any help is appreciated. The build is great fun on EH and below, I haven't seriously attempted EE at all and even the pugs I have run are usually EH. I'm sure she's "gimp" but I can't help but really enjoy this style of play (DCs @ 50 enchantment, excels at CC/healing and is moderately ok at melee thanks to sonic debuffs, reign, IC/PA, and a few decent weapons).
Thanks!
