As the title says, if the TR values were placeholders Turbine would have had a response right away. The only reason they didn't respond right when they got in this morning is because they were having meetings about what to say. The fact that a response could not be fabricated in 8 work hours makes me wonder.

Unless their prepared response was "don't worry guys, those are just placeholders" But after reading the forum rage realized that wasn't going to satisfy us. They had to go back to the drawing board.

Since I saw you post in a couple of threads now I have to ask: Do you REALLY think the new TR-mechanic is intentionally designed to let you run 500 quests in order to claim 1 TR-heart?

If not, then why are you (and all the rest of the Robin Hoods) started a giant hysterical campaign focusing on the 50-saga-completions, and thus almost play in the hands of Turbine, as some observers have suggested (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/428412-The-real-strategy-behind-the-announced-TR-changes), by letting them adjust the saga-rewards towards a reasonable level (maybe 3-5 sagas for a heart) and with this alleged 'compromise' let them get through with the abolishment of the Twelve-tokens?

It takes 8 hours to "go back to the drawing board"? How complicated is it to explain what the situation is? If they were busy formulating a press release to respond to the stories that have been written so far I could understand that. But I haven't even seen response from Turbine on Massively. It looks to me like they were seriously caught with their pants down. I can't imagine why else they would wait another day.

I do believe those were always placeholders and I do not believe in the conspiracy theory proposed in that thread.
The systems I could get on board with would be;
-Epic Tokens drop in all epic content, hearts remain purchasable. Scrap Commendations of Valor
-The removal of epic tokens and the twelve vendor all together. Make hearts a favor unlock.
-Revamp sagas to make sense. (chains and quests that fit together, ie. Inspired Quarter - Dreaming Dark = Quori Saga) and add many, many more sagas. Reward commendations or hearts as a reward. Balance the grind similar to what we have.
- Just make TR free

caught with their pants down? I would say yes. I seriously doubt they were expecting the outburst that has been littered all over the forums and a sit in that is still going and getting stronger by the hour. when they come back with something, it would have to be a final draft because that's what the people are expecting to hear er see er read.
