I have been trying out some of the "older" DDO-skins from the LotroInterface-site, but none seem to be fully operational (ex. horizontal toolbars do not get skinned). Does anyone have a nice (working) skin to recommend that cover the basic HUD - or even to mix&match separate components like Toolbars, HP/SP? I am not too fussy about the different interfaces, but would like my HUD to be coherent and especially for the toolbars to be consistent. Preferably the skin would be somewhat minimalistic, but I would more than welcome a varied selection!

I prefer Blackbird.

That said, when Turbine released U14 and the new UI, they kind of abandoned support for the skinners. The stuff that doesn't get skinned is because Turbine hasn't told anyone how to skin it, or if it is even possible to skin.

Sadly none if the UI skins fully works anymore... Since MoTU...
We have been begging for the correct template files to be released again, but so far we have only met the usual lack of response from Turbine.

The things that are especially broken in custom UI include HP/SP bars.

Thank you both! Yes, that would certainly explain it. It's sad to hear though - I know how much skinners love their work and the hours and hours they are willing to pour into it.

I still use Rival12, it doesn't completely work, but it makes vertical hotbars and some other things look a little better.

Yes, I too like the look of Rival12. It is in fact the one I initially installed and then discovered the issue with the horizontal bars. ;)

Yeah, I did look at that topic, but wrote it off as outdated due to the dates of the most recent posts. It's a shame skinners can't make the world of DDO even prettier for us all anymore. Fingers crossed it will be made available eventually! :)
