View Full Version : What are you multiclass Shiradi builds going to do for Epic TRing?

I really like the 16wiz/2monk/2fvs build... but I know when the new update is released soon... I'm going to want to be in the Arcane sphere to gain karma points (or whatever they are called) to do an Epic TR.

I think the classic 18wiz/2monk build might be better for this. Can stay in Draconic for fast leveling on EH. Or can change to Shiradi for an occasional EE.

I know that 2fvs is **** nice.... but were you really struggling with spell point usage with the 18/2 build?

Epic TR looks like a complete mess ATM. Not that it's not probably also going to be a complete mess when it goes live, but no reason to make plans until it goes live.

The temp SP generation was causing me lag, so I recently switched to 18/2. You don't have the unending supply of SP, but it's more flexible if you do plan on doing a bunch of epic lives.

I figure I'll respec feats each life based around which ED I'll be doing. DC focused Magister, EK w/ LD, maybe a GMoF EK using handwraps. Not quite sure how to make the divine trees work, might just use the first ETR for that.

As cdr said though, it's a bit early to tell, but the FvS splash is mostly beneficial for shiradi.

The Arcane Sphere grants 3% spell crit chance per epic TR (max of 9% crit for 3 past lives). So you are going to want to take 3 of those if your build is relying on Temp SP from 2 FVS.

Problem is: Leveling the Arcane Sphere would be faster in an 18/2 or pure wiz build vs a 16/2/2 build.

So I guess you stay pure or go 18/2 while Epic TR'ing... then go back to Shiradi 16/2/2 when you done... for end-game.

The primal epic past lives for caster seem lame (time limit WAY too long for a 7% proc chance).
