Is there anyway for me to use the LR +20 to turn a barbarian into a paladin?

I've decided I want to LR my barbarian into a more self sufficient class, and the paladin is the closest play style to what I want. The trouble is, I need to be Lawful Good in order to take levels in paladin, and yet I may not be Lawful as a barbarian. Is there anyway to get around this with only using an alignment swap and the +20 LR heart?

I honestly don't know, but I suspect no, since it would infringe on the barb level.

No, you cannot change alignment while you are on the resurrection boat and you cannot change your alignment after only changing 1 level of barb into something else. I think the only thing you could do is use the LR20 to change into a fighter or other class that can be lawful, then make your alignment change and then use LR+5's to switch from fighter to pally. This would take 5 weeks and a fair amount of TP. Better option might be to level a new pally, but then, of course, you wouldn't have the gear you have now.

Barbarians get stronger at 18 (death frenzy). You should easily be able to make your way to 20 with a hireling. Just take care to grab aggro (easy w/ cleaves). Then at 20, just farm Devil Assault on norm until you get 20 tokens to buy a true heart. You may even start enjoying your barb when leveling dreadnaught or fury EDs.

what server are you on? I would group with a 17 barbarian on my paladin, I dont mind if you pop a hire, and will try and spot heal you if your in trouble, but might be better to let me get most of the aggro then kill the mobs, instead of the other way around because I dont think my healing would enough if utilized that way. If its a first life, be even faster to get to 20.
