I've been planning a kensei archer with AA splash before the enhancement change, and IIRC back then one had to take at least a level of a spellcasting class to be able to imbue, because the +SP enhancements didn't grant extra SP unless you already had some.
Did that change, or would I still have to splash?

pretty sure the spell points you get from the elf enhancements works http://ddowiki.com/page/Elf_enhancements may be wrong but you can take magical training feat http://ddowiki.com/page/Magical_Training (anyone can take it now)

They changed it a while ago so that things that give SP will work on classes without blue bars. The Elven Arcanum enhancement (required for Elven AA) gives 100 SP, and the T1 AA enhancement Energy of the Wild will give you more SP and Magical Training (which gives Echoes of Power). Just tested it myself, so this isn't just conjecture.
So pure Fighter AA is fine.

Well I know about the enhancement, I was just wondering if it'd add on to 0SP.
Nice to know about the feat though, better invest a feat slot than waste the ability to get the sexy kensei capstone
