Does Howl of the North work on Exotic Weapons?

I am assuming not due to the weapon training feat :(. This is a sad day! Khopesh is probably still worth the investment, but this has me thinking hard about rapier or scimitar.

It only works with martial weapons.
For a WC I would go scimitar.
Scimitar: 15-18 x2 / 19-20 x3
Khopesh: 17-20 x3

Scimitar gains +2 hit/damage from weapon training (all martials do) and you don't need to spend a feat on a feat starved class. And Iced Edge will be almost permanent due to higher crit range.

Yeah, but khopesh has 1 point of damage higher per W, so that evens out (or is better than the +2). I guess the question then becomes whether you are more feat starved or more action point starved. I think I can fit cleave + great cleave + overwhelming critical on my 16/2ft/2rog if I drop khopesh now and that would definitely be better!

And, holy cow, I just got two balizarde rapiers from my first caught in the web quest!

Well, since I got the balizardes, I respecced my enhancements and got weapon training and howl of the north. I switched back over to my khopeshes to break the satyr's DR in the stormhorns. Strangely, I noticed that my crits were now much higher than they had been! So, I tested it. I really do think that howl of the north DOES affect khopeshes. I can't say for sure if the weapon training does also.

I think I read somewhere that Overwhelming Critical does not work with Howl of the North, or they don't stack or something, Just so you know.

I've saw only one post about it not working. I'll check when I hit 21, but that's another 4 levels away.
