18 Bard / 1 Cleric (DM) / 1 Ranger (+75 Spell Power)

16 Str + 3 tome + 4 level ups (23 for OC)
8 Dex
14 Con
14 Int
8 Wis
16 Cha + 3 tome + 3 level ups

Feats:

1: DM: Finding
3: Extend
6: Cleave
9: Great Cleave
12: IC:Slashing
15: Emp Healing
18: Quicken
21: Inspire Excellence

I don't have time to figure out the rest right now, but it looks like a good base to me. The final goal is to be a THF DPS with good healing, buffs, and also chest blessing. I suspect I will end up with about 35ish range for Cha. DM will give me about 12 - 13 Str.

Any suggestions or comments are welcome!

Warchanters don't need high CHA.

Go 18 8 14 12 8 14, all level ups into STR.
Assuming no other bonuses (it doesn't change results), with your stats you have 23 + 6 = 29 STR under DM.
With mine: 28 + 4 = 32 STR under DM.

1 Ranger is a short-sighted dip, as the SP boost is going to be removed. 1 Fighter is still better, esp. if you're not using a bow. Haste Boost is awesome, plus extra Kensai boosts your Sprints too. And, you can take Extend.

I'd also go all level ups into STR. You want CHA, but you don't need tons.

The reason I have so many points in cha is for chest blessing. My understanding is that you want 35+ cha for chest blessing.If I'm wrong please let me know because I'd love to spend more on Str.

Is the 75 healing power going to be removed? This is the first I've heard about that. I'm giving up heal for DM and the 75 spell power. I wouldn't do it for either one by itself.

Ah - yeah, you may want CHA to optimize that.

Good to know. I just spent some time reading about the current changes. I think I may end up going pure then. Adding heal would be VERY nice.

I'll level up to 15 and then decide about multiclassing. I want at least 15 levels of bard, but the more the better.
