possible to spend an uneven amount of sp?

so, since the enhancement pass my ability to summon a skeleton for 1sp is gone and thus i am unable to get filled up to 15sp with echos of power and thus i cant cast the lesser death arua anymore when out of sp :/

now the question:
is there a new way to spend an uneven amount of sp so echos of power regens back up to 15?

An item that grants -10% spell point cost for spells cast should let you cast lesser aura for 14.

More drastic would be to splash 3 pally levels and spend 11 AP in the KotC tree to take divine sacrifice.
