is it as good as it looks on paper? is it worth the grind to get the ingredients?

I had a much longer answer I deleted (but can give via PM if you really want it), but...
No, not really.

It used to be great back in that narrow window between the raid release and MotU release.
Right now, you need to farm the cannith raids A LOT to get the ingredients, and fight with your party for the useful spirits that drop. The raids themselves are still being run, but by the time you finally get all ingredients you need, it is probable you already got better bows.

Until you get your pinion, I'd say go with the Sinew, Roadwatch, and Tortured Livewood bows. Sinew has very nice critical hit damage and critical threat range, while the other two are more for raw damage and procs.

OK ... Here is my question. I have roadwatch / livewoods on all my epic builds now. The Pinion still eludes me
BUT
I have a alchemical longbow sitting in one of my toons banks. Is it worth doing anything with or am I better off just throwing it up on the AH for someone that will actually use it?
Thx

Hehe .... Works for me. Honestly it's been sitting in a bank for at least 2 years.
Only reason I have it is it was up on the AH and I am pretty sure the person that posted it forgot to add a couple zeros on the buyout price
Hehe
I was saving it for a rainy day I guess
