LR and enhancements

Do I need to use the lesser 20 to get the new enhancement system to work? I looked around in forums but had a hard time finding a post on this. Plus a little lazy looking through everything.

You don't need to use the 20LR stone at all. You can use the new enhancements right now even if f2p. However many feats don't work as well as the used to and some multiclass builds won't work well either. If this applies to your current build or if you want to try something completely new, then use the 20LR stone. If you like your current build, or aren't sure yet then don't use the stone at this time, just get your enhancements.

You should be able to save your stone and use it sometime after U20 if you want.

Thanks for the reply I am a pure monk at level 11 and do not have close to the hit points I did before and feel that I need to work on her to make her better. Now It looks like I have to break out short swords because it seems that will be better then the hand wraps I worked hard on getting and I was looking forward to punching and kicking everything.
