I was eager to download the update and check out the new changes yesterday.
+ The new enhancement tree is visually better than the old, also logical that you can see what the requirements are to get where you want to end up.
+ It looks like some trees are re-organized and re-categorizations of the old enhancements, but it also looks like there are new enhancements/"prestige" lines/options (finally!).
+ Wizard Palemasters get a buff-er skeletal knight pet. Hmmm, this may be close to my old WoW favorite class - warlock. (Specced for it, and will try it out during my solo play).
+ LR +20 is very generous, thanks!
+ Jury is still out on the XP ransack and how it affects leveling strategies, but I appreciate diminishing repetition penalties.
+ Haggle mule bard had sprint boost fall into his lap! haha, sorry rangers =P
- Some boxes/enhancement tool-tip doesn't show the ML requirement/AP requirement when you hover over it (to be fixed, probably....soon*).
- Where is the manual, compendium, instruction manual, explanation, FAQ, general information post on this new system? (Here's something shiny and new, now go figure it out)
- Give us a week or two where plat/shards to reset enhancements are at a fixed cost (it would go a long way for us to come up with answers and information).
- Debuffed caster spell power enhancements, directing casters towards crits and DCs? (new skill Spellcraft now a staple?)
- Basic skills (heal, repair, etc) have been modified (in an effort to make them more useful?), but no mention in the release notes?
Q: does anyone know how different tree abilities stack? Does +Spell Power or +crit from one tree add to another tree's +Spell Power/+Crit?
I'm looking for ways to boost Spell Power, since some of my Potency items have gone up in ML that I currently can't use it anymore.
