Missing items and bound bug

So what do we do when items are missing? My Panther is gone from my sorc. Also, about the auction house. I bought an item that said bound to character when equipped. I bought it, retrieved from mailbox, and went to bank to give to alt but was bound to me on acquire. How do I go about fixing this?

If you have a hireling folder check there for your panther , I noticed it missing on one of my toons and that was the cause.

The BtCoE issue is known. Apparently it has something to do with the item already being in your Focus Orb, then when you click it, it accidentally "equips" (I don't know if it literally equips or just changes the bind state). I would either create a ticket on the Turbine site (not an in-game ticket as GMs can't help with item issues) or call the Customer Service number. Even if they say they can't help you it will add to the knowledge of this problem. Also file a bug report.
