View Full Version : Desparate need of a "remove reroll" UI option

Aside from the obnoxious money-grab that the re-roll for 9 astral shards represents, the placement of the button and inability to remove it seriously needs to be addressed. It should be above or somewhere other than right next to the "loot" button. Com'n now!

And the fact that it is on the right, the default spot for clicking, is intended to get accidental clicks to burn your shards so you'll need to buy more.
Speaking of which the "buy shards" button at the bottom right that keeps popping itself up over my macro bar needs to go or they're losing a customer. This is clearly a scam to get miss clicks to burn your turbine points on useless shard buys so you need to give them money. Just like the completely unnecessary 'apply coupon' button that if you don't yet, you lose your turbine points.
Scams scams scams. Everything they can do to shove buttons in front of your face to miss click to end up costing you money. Disgusting.

I you refuse to support the money-grab Astral Shard economy that is being pushed upon us all, by not BUYING them, or USING them, you won't have to worry about LOSING them.

However, it won't happen. Loot reroll is WAI.

Not positive, but I think oweieie was talking about how, when you go to get the weekly freebies from the DDO Store, after you enter the Coupon Code, if you forget to hit the "APPLY COUPON" button under it, you get charged the TP value of the item. And oweieie's right. That button is unnecessary. If you put the Code in, that should be enough. Uhhhh....IF that's what oweieie was talkin about, anyway.

also remove the astral shard ui in the lower right corner. You know, that we know, that we can buy them in store?

If it can't help you can totally avoid clicking :) Click B key (if you didn't change default keys) and you'll loot all :)
BTW signed ofc.. I don't like that thing!

I really think Turbine needs to remove the Astral shards altogether OR make them actually drop in quests on a constant basis.
I was running around in the prison and there is an option to bribe an NPC with Astral shards. IMO and I think I speak for many when I say this is complete BS. what ever happened to paying 10K plat? I can't see myself playing this game much longer if its going to turn into paying for advancement and/or ingame currency. what is this candycrush?????? I have played this game since 2006 and have purchased the "Epic expansion" packs each time. I don't mind paying for upgraded expansions, and a armor kit here or there but currency give me a break Turbine.
Like many have said in the past and I am now going to have to agree, this is turning into a pay to win game and thats really disappointing.....

I don't mind having the option to Pay-to-Win. I don't even mind things like being able to buy Hires with AS. However, I don't like it being "in my face" all the time. I don't like having the opportunity to misclick and spend non-refundable AS accidentally (everything's non-refundable, so we are owed care and redundancy so as not to waste our money unintentionally).
Every transaction that uses AS should have a confirmation.
Every dialogue/window/applet (or whatever you call them) that uses AS should should display your current AS balance instead of cluttering up our gaming GUI. (The current design is pure sloth and laziness and it's disrespectful to even publish such a product.)
There needs to be an opt-out choice in GUI options for common windows that allow the use of AS in addition to Platinum currency; e.g. Fred, chest rerolls, Fate/Enhancement resets, &c.
