How to Recover from this situation.

So. I used an EXP stone, not realizing that I had my 30% pot, my 5% heroic exp, and 5% ship buff going.


I gained ALOT of experience, moving me from lv 9 (holding 10) to lv 17. I accidently took lv 17. I honestly did not mean to, I had thought I only took 1 level of monk, in reality I had already taken 2. So i thought I was safe.

I am now 1.3 million XP behind. I've never NOT held levels before.

How does one recover from this situation? Do I do slayers now? all 4000 orchard slayers? lol.

Just go back and run the quests below you that you've not touched at all yet.

At level 17, even the lordsmarch content on elite is ~2k xp per minute if you don't mind invis zerging.

It'll be very easy for you to catch up to where you would have liked when you're level 17 with access to first time bonuses to everything around you.

Run level 14+ quests and I garantee you will be fine. Firsts time on elite even without streak bonus will give you a ton of xp. You can even do lower quests like shadow crypt. You will be surprised!!!

You can easily take a full level from farming necro IV alone, expectially if you have a pot going, xp tome and all that good stuff.

I just used a stone and thought I had a 50% pot going (had 7 in my inventory so no reason to not have one going when I used the stone) I im fairly certain that I did click on the pot but it didnt go off,

so I only had a 5% going. Was expecting to be just below 19 but instead didnt even make 17....

next time you use a stone you dont want to use it so late. Try using 1-50 xp into 8. that way you get more bang for your buck. 30% pot will shoot you to 18 and 50% bring you just before 19.

Even knowing that I still messed mine up..... go figure...

you shouldnt have nothing to worry aboot. do all GH on elite and orchard. farm some ghosts runs they fast easy and quick xp, same with litany.. you be 18 banking 19 in no time and you can cap out doing LOD and Reaver reach. if neccesary vale quests. No need to grind out slayers at all....

Ouch. Well quests are supposed to gain a sort of ransack timer at some point, so if you get really stuck there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Honestly I don't see the problem, or at least a significant one.

Run Level 13 on Elite you have not done -10% XP for being +2 Levels and no Bravery (won't hurt your streak) But you are still going to get your First Time Quest and First Time Elite bonuses

Run Level 14 on Elite just the First Time Bonuses still no change to your Bravery

Run Level 15 on Elite Back in business

It is likely at this point you will be Level 18 or at least almost 18. Clean up the XP to get Level 18 using the level 13 to 15 Quests. Take 18 and from 18 until you are 20 just hold the XP. This will keep all the level 16 Quests as runnable without over level penalties.

You are far from sunk.

Some people play as they level. Or they level as they play. Whatever. People get to 17, 18, 19 and so on and carry on.

I see your point when asking for some advice in here, but if you think again on "your" situation, think on the others now. I usually don't hold levels and have no problem leveling up. And I don't have lots of packs, I'm no VIP (only Premium with a few packs here and there).

There are quests for every level. Wait a min, level 17 and up quests' XP is a bit grind-based, sure... But let me tell you that is soo possible to level a toon to level 20 being F2P, that everybody else will be able to do so.

So, you really don't have any "problem".
