TWF or THF? Do you want trap skills, or is the rog splash just for Evasion (& maybe UMD)?

I could throw it together, but... it just has issues that make it frustrating.
Namely, the way barbarian rage affects trap skills. (And you always rage, else you're a gimped fighter!)
And the way barb rage affects UMD. It's doable, sure. But other classes would be better.
And you didn't answer Unbongwah's question: THF or TWF?
Affects starting stats, feats, etc.
*edit* Just had a thought..
Is this meant to be a rogue with a few barb levels, or a barb with a few rogue?

You only answered one of my questions. :)
Nevertheless, here's an example of a barb 18 / rog 2 build w/UMD & trapskills:

There are a few challenges to playing a barb trapper. The first, as Soulfurnace mentions, is you can't search for or disable traps while Raged; this means either dismissing Rage to deal with them or disabling them all first, then Raging. The second is I didn't have enough skill pts for Spot; vets just memorize where all the traps are, but a newbie like you will probably want to look up the quests on the wiki (http://ddowiki.com/page/Quests) before adventuring so you know what to expect. That or find them the painful way by setting them off.
Rage also prevents you from using scrolls or wands, so again you need to play around that, esp. if you want to be a self-healer. My suggestion is to UMD various buffs (i.e., Shield, Blur, Stoneskin, Fire Shield, etc.) before combat, then Rage before charging in. Low base DEX means low base Reflex saves, so be sure to invest in boosting those, otherwise Evasion ain't worth squat; learn to use (Imp (http://ddowiki.com/page/Improved_Uncanny_Dodge)) Uncanny Dodge (http://ddowiki.com/page/Uncanny_dodge) once you have it.
EDIT: another option would be to go for more rog lvls; e.g., barb 12 / rog 8. You give up FB III and a bunch of HPs; but you get a lot more skill pts, extra sneak atks, and Wand&Scroll Mastery III.
