Need a Druid build for my kid. It should not be complicated to run. Have 32 point build. No half races or Drow. Thinking pure to get spells early, but it does not have to be. Thinking melee build is easier to run. I think she will enjoy shape shifting into animals. We have Vet status 2 for lvl7, but appreciate thoughts and concepts to lvl25.

I run a lot of cleric generalists and multi classing for melee myself. Never ran a Druid before, so some advice/tips on how to melee it and maybe some light casting would help. Healing advice with it too.

Character planning pastes would be appreciated.

Brag about those builds. The pros and cons. I want to read it.

hermespan's wolf build (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/411428-Fenris-Build%28melee-specialized-wolf-druid%29) is pretty solid, IMHO; I'm running something fairly similar as a human. [Was supposed to be a bear / tank-y char, `til I discovered just how dire bears really are. Now run her as mostly wolf.]

As you can see from this thread (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/418622-Shapeshifting-more-drawbacks-fewer-benefits), there are a lot of complaints about wolf melee DPS in epics, mostly to do with (A) not getting the +[W] bonuses of other melees and (B) Lay Waste + Momentum Swing not working with unarmed / animal-form atks. But honestly, as long as your daughter's kicking butt & taking names as a freakin' wolf, will she really care?

This is my Druid build. It was put together using Hermespan's earlier posts than his Fenris build and from some pm's I had with him.
Maybe it will work for you.
