What are the easiest epics for a cleric to solo?

I'm caster specced but poorly geared. I've got level 21 and level 1 of exalted angel with the ~250 damage SLA. I'm wondering which Epic normals/epic hards are easiest to solo? I tried a devil assault epic normal and got trounced in the tiefling wave when they turned from easy blade barrier kites to stand still shooting types --- I was able to slay/destruct a bunch but ran out of mana well before my next shrine.

Easiest epic normal quests for a solo cleric are probably Fathom the Depths and Thaarashk Arena.

The Snitch would be tied with those two except that Crateos (red-named construct boss) is immune to light.

Lords of Dust should be possible.
Most of the bosses can be energy drained. The biggest issue might be getting tripped, keep moving.

No. But if you have a hireling, he can help absorb damage while you beat Crateos down with a smiter.

Black Loch is very easy for a cleric if your turns are half decent. Epic wizard king is pretty easy for a caster cleric also, it just takes longer.

Just gonna chime in on the DA thing that you tried.

On my last FvS life I went in there a couple of times on EN for some quick tokens for a heart of wood and thanks to the monster manual noticed that those tieflings that you were talking about destruction'ing only have 6-700 hp, so instead of throwing a heightened destruction at them I just hit them twice with the 3 SP SLA from exalted angel (wich can be twisted easily twisted in anywhere since it's tier 1).

if your doing epics just to get tokens so you can TR id reccomend lava caves times is money. its a kobold collect crystals challenge in house C. anyone can do it once you get the techinc down. you get collectibles from the quest you can trade for epic tokens, takes awhile but you dont need equipment for it.

your gona need to spam it lots of times to get 20tokens but compared to grinding items its not that bad
time is money and DA are two of the more popular quests to get tokens from

I have done first quest of Lord of Dusts in epic normal, that one is easy; I also did the Druid`s Chain for commendations but I think I did it in epic casual with no hire. I only had a little trouble in last fight of chain.. that earthquake spell is nasty :)

I have done some epic normal in druid King`s Forest also, dont remember the name, the one you have to kill a priestess who is moving through the rooms and save captives.

I love playing my cleric, but I realized my melee sucks :(

Bring a halfway decent hire along as a decoy/meatshield/supplementary dps, plus something to deal with beholder level drains, and an EN von3 is still relatively easy, plus gives a ton of xp (3-4k per opt plus 50-60k or so for the completion) - remember, the SLAs (and i think radiant servant bursts?) will work in an antimagic field :)

If your playing Sword and Board, drop the shield and grab a two hander (That is if you have proficiency). That will boost your DPS somewhat.

Or get hold of a sacrificial dagger.. those things are surprisingly good :)

I have a battle cleric (now 20/5) and will say that Druids, Red Fens, Von 1-4, are all very good to start. I also like the High Road. Once you have Judgment ability from the FVS ED, all the quests with Devils, like Devils Assault, become very soloable on EN.

Don't be afraid to use hires. I like the Rogue hires in evening star. Helps get some optionals and takes care of some annoying traps while providing needed DPS without grabbing much agro.

I went with the Pally ED and love it. I also recommend picking up the Purple Dragon Knight armor set while you farm Epic items.

Most of the eveningstar chain is pretty easy to solo. You can also grab that crazy ranger shiradi hireling once you hit 23ish. Keep him healed and the quest is generally yours.
