So I am starting this build now with the plan to use this as my main and TR toon and was curious as to what everyone thought.

Warforged 18 favored soul 1 barb 1 fighter

Str 18
Dex 8
Con 16
Int 12
Wis 6
Cha 12

Feats: power attack, cleave, empower healing, great cleave, quicken, toughness, IC: slashing, maximize.

Skills in order of importance: concentration, UMD, balance 1 in tumble at the start

Any advice is welcome

I'd go 2 ftr instead, more feats mostly, but barb rage also prevent from casting spells.
Maybe drop Int by two and pump con to 18 too ? If you have an Int tome you'll be good on skills points.
Look Solid otherwise, GL.

The barb level nets me 2 things over another level of fighter
10% run speed/sprint boost - just call me ricky bobby cause I like to go fast!
And 1 more point to power attack.

And yes I would agree with the con statement and that was my original plan but I decided to start on a mew server and thus had no tomes to start with. As I plan to TR this toon anyway I planned to farm some tomes out before then and change some things with the build if needed. I am planning to gobfor completionist with 3 lives in every class so I'll have a few runs with each class to fine tune.

GL with the project!

Edit: You might want to get the barb lifes out of the way while it's only 1.9 mil exp.

WF FvS have fallen out of favor since the glory days of Soul Survivor; the heal amp penalty is, well, a killer. Otherwise, your build seems fine, given your stated goals / preferences.

Yea truthfully my first thought was to go halforc but as I had to drop VIP a while ago I figured I'd use WF this life and probably switch to halforc next life. That said I have always like WF FvSs it was the first toon I got to the higher levels and oddly enougj it was a soul survivor build.

You don't have to go horc. Why not human/helf for extra feat/skills or sneak damage, twice the hjeal amp.
Human damage boost is covered by fvs dmg boost, but it's still better to have versatility ( saves situationally or haggling / umd after death ).

Agree - very solid build.

I run something very similar to this, only 18 fvs 2 fighter (feats) and human (feats, skills). Fighter gives proficient to use martial weapons, so war forged not needed to use great sword, and I don't like the neg to healing. But other wf benefits are nice, of course. Iirc, my feats are identical. Cleave and great cleave rock. My guy is at 25 running in avenging angel with some Melee twists (forget which offhand) and he can solo all eh quests I've tried, which is good enough for me. (I couldn't care less about ee quests.) Super fun build for soloing, and in group/ raid can heal alongside the best of them. I did make sure I planned for 21 con to get epic toughness.

But the above are just my preferences. Your build offers nice advantages, too.

Have fun!

Not too worried about the feats. Would be nice to have a couple other feats as well but Ibthink I'll be fine as is.

And as far as the barb lives go I was planning to go 12 barb 6 fighter 2 rog helf with cleric dilly for self healing when needed.

Looks really cool. And great idea on the cleric dilly on a barb too, have to try that.
All that's left is to decide the order of your feats and levels.

You could take great cleave with fighter at level 5.
Or... take fighter at level 20 and Imp crit then.

Guess it boils down to an extra feat earlier. Or bb/heal a level earlier (13 instead of 14, iirc)

I took my barb level first for the run speed and boost then it's favored soul till after I get BB and heal then the fighter level for improved critical slashing. That's my own personal idea anyway ymmv

If it is just for Sprint Boost then take 1 Rgr isntead of a Barbarian. More skill points, slightly less hp. The rage might be ignored, use pots instead. The disadvantage of losing all spellcasting abilities as a melee FvS makes the whole concept of melee FvS obsolete.

I also get 10% static run speed, situational rages, and 1 point of power attack over a ranger level.

Also plan to use rage pots as well, and since rage and rage pots stack I can get more bang for my buck.
