According to DDOwiki:

This song enthralls and weakens nearby enemies, causing them to cease their activities and suffer a -2 penalty to attack rolls and Will saving throws. Damage has a chance of breaking the enthrallment effect but not the penalties.
I wonder how big chances does the enemies have to break free when beating them ... Does it depend on inflicted damage (ie: I hit for 100 and my perform is 60 ->the mob will break free) or it is just new roll on each hit to save Enthrallment ? Or it is just some sort of magically hidden chance ?
I have tested it a bit on VetII bard , but it is not reliable source imho - I´am wondering more about 25 and EEs.
I would welcome any advice , Thanks

Hail williamsane

Cant answer you with any degree of certainty but I used enthrallment up to lvl23 then specced to SS.

My limited experience at EH was Enthrallment only seems to last for a hit or three before being broken. To me it didn't seem a significant advantage over the basic fascinate.

At lvl 25 on most EE stuff - I find it quite workable doing a fascinate (holding breath and crossing toes others know how to play with fascinate), then irresistible dance individuals including orange named.

An enthralled foe has 25% chance of breaking free on being hit. The chance does not have anything to do with amount of damage dealt, your level or your perform check. Basically, this is somewhat better than fascinated just in a limited amount of cases - when you hit someone accidentally, enthrall has a good chance to stay, fascinate will not.
