I'm wondering if there's an effective rogue/fig or rogue/fig/barb build or something else out there that doesn't rely much on SA damage (but can do it). Do not have access to monks.
Primarily interested in THF, trap skills and UMD
1 rogue past life
Human
4/2/1 ED twist capability
- I'm aiming for 23 str min for Overwhelming Crit
- Also aiming, if possible 21 dex min for Improved SA (which I think requires minimum of 12 rogue levels)
The pure way of doing it might be more effective (idk) because it's relying on SA for the brunt of the damage and divine power clickies when up front.
My limited knowledge leads me to think that multiclassing and taking advantage of ED's would be great..
The fact that I have access to a lot of rogue-ish leveling gear helps..
I don't have a specific build for you, but you are probably just looking for a 2rogue/18whatever build.
1 rogue unlocks all the "rogue skills", including UMD. The second rogue level gives you evasion. You will probably get more from 18 levels in fighter or barb than you would from additional rogue levels (unless you
And now that I think about it, 1 Arti could also unlock the rogue stuff for you

now that I think about it, lvl 13 rogue gets you 7d6 SA and 2 rogue feats (probably imp. evasion and opportunist/crippling strike/or skill mastery +1 to all skills..
This would mean at lvl 24 +10d6 sneak attack
I am not doing the math on this as you can see...

you want a 13 rogue, 6 fighter, 1 barb build that uses a big flipping stick
See https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/158960-Big-F-n-Stick-Build?highlight=big+stick

I know you said you didnt have access to monk, but you can swap the 1 barb level for a druid level if you have it (for rams might and shelligh thingy)

Ok that looks interesting.... now.... recently pulled a certain large sword out of FOT and somehow seem to have the materials to make an ESOS... but really enjoy playing a rouge. =D
guess it's a good dilemna to have

It's fairly trivial to adapt my rog 13 / ftr 6 / barb 1 build to use regular 2H weapons instead of staves. I'd probably redo the feats to squeeze in the THF chain (maybe by dropping CE+Imp Feint entirely, since I'm not sure it got de-bugged yet).
And yes, having a "spare" eSOS is very much a first-world problem, as the kids might say. :p
