Need Sorc advice for TR

So yeah, Just TR'd my gimpy first life sorc that has been a bank toon since a little after U10.
Admittedly, I haven't played a pure caster since then. All my casters have been either melee casters, or AA caster testing builds.
So, yeah here's a build I just TR'd into. I'm currently at level 4, so plenty of time to mess with feats or w.e. Because I honestly don't know what to take. I'm thinking this will eventually be a Shiradi sorc, but idk. As I haven't played one yet, I might hate it. lol

Ok. I think you could do without extend. Quicken might be good later on.

There is no real need for extend on a sorc(leave that to the bards) :P and there is no real reason to have skill focus: anything, ever. Also, you don't need to waste a feat on Arcane Prodigy, the level 7 spell: Prismatic Spray covers that even better.

3 Feats that might fit well in there are:
-Quicken(later level spells still take some time even as a sorc)
-Mental Toughness(any boost of sp is crucial to casters. it saves plat too!)
-Either: Spell Penetration or Heighten(DC is nice, but Spell Pen. is more important. through experience I've noticed that instas can be a real help in zerging something, but no help at all if I can't pass the spell pen.)

Epic: What Destiny are you planning? Draconic? Shiradi?

I'm not really sure what to say about your epic feat choices(maybe some other members can help) but I(maybe i'm alone here) would not take epic spell focus: evo <or> Great Charisma. There are 2 ways that you could do:

1. Take the mental toughness line (imp->epic) for a boost in sp
or
2. Take the spell pen. line(imp->epic)

My suggestion for selection of feats
- Skill focus UMD (for selfhealing )
- Maximize
- Heighten
- Spell Focus
- Spell Pen
- Empower / additional Spell Pen or Focus
- Toughness

You can later exchange Skill focus for FoP, SpellPen/Focus, Quicken. I don't have Quicken and doesn't suffer. It may be useful with ED(?).

Don't waste feat on Mental Toughness,

Or run with Hafling and take two feats for dragonmarks of healing :)
