and though I know that most people have fled the forums for various reasons, I find this a very obvious and irritating problem with the new forums.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Prior to May 7 it was also exhibiting the same behavior but they updated it on May 7 - apparently manually because it's not updating on its own.
