You Turbine folk leveraging it yet?
Would be nice to see when scheduled maintenance is actually scheduled.

Actually it would be great if they would implement a raid timer in this calendar thingy. I think, it would be the best use of this option.
PS: I try to keep this threat alive :) Commmunity support appreciated.

This is the same player events calendar that's been on the forums for some years now. It's definitely not one of the more used sections of the forums, though, for sure. It's a good idea, though, to consider non-player-created uses for it in the future.

Seems like the perfect place for QuartermasterX's new Sale and DDO Bonus Days announcements...

I don't understand what you're saying. Do you mean that the Calendar is supposed to be User-created? Because I certainly have never seen any way to post events to the calendar... Even widely known and publicized events like Leslie's marches haven't ever found their way to the Calendar. Neither have any Lama events, or well, ANYthing that I've every seen. So yeah, if it does have a User level use, I'd love to know about it. Otherwise, it's dev-side tool, in which case it'd be great if y'all used it...

Correct. Back in the day there were server-specific calendars, and everything in them ported over to the master events calendar as well. You can still access the server-specific calendars using the Calendar Picker drop-down menu. Event creators can add to the calendars by using the Add New Event button.

Well, HECK, that's one of the coolest things I've heard in recent weeks. :) I wish I had an event to post right now! Thanks for the info.

Just went to go check it out. Unfortunately the Calendar only goes up to 2010. Neither the dropdown nor the Arrow buttons allow us to go past December 2010. Can you add this to the list of forum fixes please? No idea if it'll get used, but we'll never know till it's fixed :)

I can't seem to get it to give me anything later than 2010 when I select the Thelanis calendar.
EDIT: Ninja'd.

Yeah, looks like the server-specific calendars are outdated. The Master Events calendar is showing the correct month and year for me though, both when logged in and not.

This would be AWESOME for something like filling raids and quests that it's hard to get a group for!
"I want to get (RAID A) done, but it's so hard to get a group for it"
/cheesy infomertial voice: "Well, now your worries are at an end with: the event calender! Just post when and what quest you want to run on your server calender, and it will be available for the whole player base to see!" / infomertial off
Make a link on the start menu (when you press esc) and it could be a very valable player tool, sort of like an advanced grouping board.
And it could be used for auctions, player gatherings (like when players held hands in house D for, I forget teh reason), and anything else that would be good on it.
Please please please! :)

No one ever reads it.
At one time, there were events on it, but no one read it.
Everyone does things through private chat channels or on guild forums.

How about having an in-game calendar? Would make at level raids a whole lot easier to organise for those of us not in big guilds or not using any channels.
