Missing Daily Dice

Is it just me or daily dice haven't really been "daily" as of late?

I seem to be going for a long period of time without a free roll, then one pops up randomly. Known issues don't seem to have mentioned it, so I just want to confirm with anyone before making a bug report.

From what I read and exsperienced, it's not daily, but rather about every 16 hours it resets. So if you are expecting it to reset at a specific time everyday I don't believe it works that way. I think it's 16 hours from the time you last used it.

I personaly cannot confirm if it's broked for the last few days as I loged in last night and Monday this week, both times daily dice was wiating for me.

It's definitely not resetting after 16 hours from use, nor 24 hours after use. This is a recent problem I'm having, daily dice worked in the past. But thanks for saying it's working fine for you. Seems like it's an individual problem. I'll write a bug report.

Also, server resets might reset the countdown, so that might be why its sometimes later than you expect, depending when you last used it.

Do you shut down the client when you log off or keep it running? I've had no issue but I shut the client down when I'm not in-game... Just a thought to check out.

I log in in the morning and do my dice. I rinse and repeat every day. No problemos.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'client' in this context. I log off when I'm done finished playing. I do have DDO in window mode, and subsequently, I close the browser using the Close button on top right corner rather than the in-game method. But I haven't had trouble with that in the past.

Logged onto friend's account, I have no problems seeing their daily dice.

Back on my char, I decided to roll a silver even though it wasn't free and see if that resets any problems that might've occurred. Like a fool I forgot to note down whether or not my astral shards were deducted. Might've been a cosmetic problem. Oh well, I'll see tomorrow...

Just an update to my problem, I figured it out, and what a weird problem it is...

Turns out if your pc clock stops functioning properly, your notification that you have a daily dice roll available becomes non-existent. You will still have the roll available, but it'll say "3" astral shards instead of the "0" it's supposed to be.

A quick time change on my clock and voila, the notification pops up.

I guess I need to change my cmos battery...

My daily dice is available in less than 24 hours. After initially paying 3 AS a few times by mistake, I've rolled a 99 and received a timer bypass and rolled a 100 and received 35 AS. I am not so worried about the 6 AS I lost by misclicking any more.

My clock is running fine and I've had issues with the DDR 2x now. Still haven't figured out what the trouble is/was.
