What do you guys think should be in the next expansion collector's edition?
I was thinking
1 +4 supreme tome ability
1 otto's irresistable box
1 +2 tome of fate
1 greater tome of learning
5 sovereign I experience elixirs
I think that list is comprised of things you want..... and probably want a discount pack on....
lol....
For those that already farmed +4s, already have a greater learning tome, and got the +2 fate tome, that CE reward list seems like a huge waste of money/not worth considering.
I'd want a collector's edition to have collector's items. Not just desirable things already purchasable in ddo store / game.

Nods happily and hopes for another permanent gold seal hire,
even a level 28 version of the battle cat would be acceptable.
An elephant comes to mind, but the size blocking line of sight might be an issue.
Small dragon, perhaps?

This time around, they need multiple Collector's Editions. At the very least, one geared towards subscribers (and premiums that have bought most, if not all, content packs) and one geared towards premiums. And, it would be up to the customer as to which they want.
Subscriber CE - Greater XP tome or upgrades for lesser XP tomes (people who bought Menace CE already have account wide lessers, as do many people who just picked them up from the DDOStore), XP Stone, whatever "exclusive" pet they're going to bundle with this expansion, and a stipend of TP (in place of content packs)
Premium CE - Same as above, but with a couple of content packs in place of the TP stipend.
Best of all would be an "a-la-carte" CE, to let us combine up to X number of features as we see fit.
Of course, we're probably just going to get a "one size fits all" CE that will be passable, but not really a perfect fit for all.

Everyone has different sizes. Some 0, 2, some 4, some 8, some Extra Wide Load...
Would be nice if there is a Build Your Own Hoardition: (BYOH)
1) Option to select an inherent statistic boost to character(s)... ( $$ )
2) Mandatory to select Shadow Fall Content(s) ( $$ )
3) Option to select Epic Destiny Benefit(s) ( $$ )
4) Option to select Otto's Irresistible Box(es) ( $$$ ) <---- extra wide load?
5) Mandatory ML28 Epic Gargoyle and Harpy flying pets and cosmetic pets ($)
6) Option to select Teleport to new areas/quests cosmetic Kobold T-shirt ($)
7) Option to select Iconic Characters that start at CL15 ($$)
Subtotal: $$$
Discount based on Options selected (-XX% to -XX%) ($$$)
Total: $$$

Probably be more like:
Cosmetic pet of some theme related to the xpack
Cosmetic helmet
Epic Destinies
Warforged Race
Druid's Deep pack
Shan-To-Kor pack
Lesser XP tome for all characters
The VIP 10% in-town movement speed
~AnchoGremlin

6) cosmetic kobold t-shirt ($)

How about a collection of permanent gold seal clerics every few levels similar to what the start kit has now? (Say levels 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18). Of course they would need to be better behaved then some of them are now. No standing in the lava field right next to the island.
Maybe even include a few other classes as well.

The battle cat was the main thing that put me over the edge to spend on the MOTU expansion.
My finances are very tight - everything else I can find in game or purchase at some point if I really need it. A permanent companion is so well suited to my playing style that it would probably be the deciding factor for me again.
Would like it to be at LEAST level 25....

I think they gathered enough data about high price items since last summer so I am expecting a $200 package. It's total speculation of course, but I expect to see it this time around as it seems completely consistent with their strategy of offering something for people with a lot of discretionary money.
I don't think it will compete with other store offerings so I wouldn't expect it to include +4 tomes or ottos boxes. It will include some other things instead.

That's not Turbine's style. They would give you a cosmetic fish in a bowl with 20% stacking epic xp bonus plus underwater action.

Oooooh... Let's combine the cosmetic pet fish in a bowl with a cosmetic helmet! A Fishbowl helmet with a little fish swimming inside it, that granted Underwater Action. Now there's a winning combo.
As someone mentioned above, the Permanent Gold Seal Panther pushed me into buying the collector's edition. And seeing that Turbine made a Permanent Gold Seal hireling for the Starter Pack, I'd expect some sort of new Permanent Gold Seal hireling. Hopefully, it will be unique, such as non-playable race or animal.
Also, hopefully it will be a true Gold Seal hireling, unlike the Starter Pack hireling. That hireling can't be used unless you are the same level as the hireling. Very misleading. And a very bait-and-switch maneuver. Additionally, hopefully it can fit into the Hireling Folder, since the Start Pack hireling can't, while the Panther can.

I think a set of choices would work well.
Ex pack
Choose 1: lesser tome of learning for all toons or 5 50% Xp pots.
Choose 1: new exclusive pet or 150 astral shards
Choose 1: 3 pre chosen old adventure packs or 1000 tp
Choose 1: new exclusive perma gold seal baby dragon hireling or Xp stone
Also included, 1000 tp

Based on items that squeak dropped in the dev event on lamma, I'm going to guess that you'll get in the preorder:
An owlbear hireling (similar to the panther)
Flying cat cosmetic pet (calico maybe?) kind of creepy looking
Also, probably you'll also get:
iconic heros (last time around was vet status 7 + xp stone)

Owlbear hireling sounds very cool. I approve.
Yeah, I expect Iconic Heroes with the Collector's Edition, but I also expect probably an XP Stone again also. Remember last time we got Epic Destinies and Vet Status 7, and the Vet Status was unlockable via favor.
Maybe even an Epic Learning Tome, since there's a cap increase and limited content.

Hopefully any hireling will be one per character as the Panther was, if its one per account like the starter bundle Cleric it can stay on the store shelf and collect dust.
But if it scaled to character level, that would make you some TP

I love the idea of an Owlbear gold seal hireling. Would make a great replacement for the panther.
Something I'd love to have is a gem that lets you transform into a kobold for a certain period of time and is re-usable. I'd so love to have a character that runs around as a kobold all of the time (including in quests).

After the U14 Pre-order debacle Shadowfell I'm not sure it's possible for Turbine to cram enough P2Win into a pre-order for me to consider buying it.
I'd also prefer they DON'T have a pre-order at all. The Pre-order fro MoTU hung that deadline around their necks like a boat anchor and we got such a bug-ridden mess that's still being cleaned up. I'd rather the developers not have that pressure and get it RIGHT before it's released.

I disagree with this completely. When I was VIP, I wanted a way to buy packs, races and classes so that when I stopped being VIP (for whatever reason) I could still enjoy the game without having to dump a bunch of money into the game. I thought including the packs was a great way for VIP to get a sample of the game without spending extra money as soon as VIP is lost. The same thing with new players, they gain some packs right off the back so they don't have to pay more for additional quests.
After all, you weren't losing anything with the packs inclusion, you just weren't gaining something. It would be like people who don't TR to complain that they don't want the XP stones included or people who don't like cosmetic pets to complain that cosmetic pets are included. These are all additional things that not all players want/need but give a reason for various players to get the upgraded or collector's edition, instead of the standard edition or piecemeal the contents.

I found out what the CE's main allure will be.....
It's a pocket plane.
When you use it on yourself or your friends, you're transported to your own private bar / party room with:
a bartender
a mail box
an autioneer
a cosmetic kit vendor
a teleporting machine (like using a teleport scroll)
a full body size wall mirror
a dance stage to show off your cosmetic kits
some couches
a fireplace
a piano...
...................
TAKE ALL MY MONEY!!!
JKING. That's my personal wish. :3
Albeit, having a readily accessible teleporter would be a god-send to many classes not wizard. :D
Also, the portable dressing room might be good for encouraging people to buy cosmetic kits.

Or at least they should create a bundle that includes 3 months of VIP subscrition. That would be great. Otherwise, I may wait until it goes to DDO STORE and them buy it with my TPs.

Keep in mind there is no cost for Turbine to give us virtual products. Turbine points, Otto's Boxes, Tomes, etc... have zero cost to Turbine at this point. They have already been developed and put into the game. At this point, they are just gaining 100% revenue on these items we purchase. The costs have already been realized for the development of these items. The expansion pack is where they are trying to get as much cash for to pay for it. So, if it means loading up the offering with additional items, it really doesn't matter to Turbine since there is zero cost for those items. If they were smart, they would put a few ottos boxes and +3 or 4 supreme tomes in there to guarantee a few more sales than they would have otherwise. Plus, when the offering does not hit the expectations mark, it will sting a little less for those who purchases it since they also got a healthy amount of extras included that would normally cost a bunch of points.

Account augment bag,
key thing- collects augments
carried by all toons on server, all have access to it without having to move it around.
in fact, make a version of all bags that do this, I'd pay, and i already have huge bags on most toons.
no more "which toon has that ESOS shard" (I wish I had that problem)

Being a new-ish player when Motu expansion came out. I did much umm-ing and arr-ing about getting it. Finally buying the top package with the proviso I was going to cancel my vip for a short while(I never did).
I was/am very happy with the extra's i got xp tomes, panther. I love FR expansion quests ed's an all.
So what do i want this time or more importantly what will make me spend
No cosmetic pets or as many people like the daft things a decent other choice.
A MUST is something like the panther but higher level like 25.
What i'd really like is some single level xp tomes(1 only per character per life would be acceptable). Mainly so i don't need to grind lev 19 or to catch up with guildies/groups.
Some character cosmetic things(armour kit, hair etc). Maybe 1 free per level/s I can build my character to my taste, I want it therefore to look different.
Most importantly take your time and get it right, no-one wants so many problems this time.
