Change of Plans! - Again!

After some discussion, we have decided that regardless of the issues with removing the new Enhancements, we would like to have everyone check out the Update 18 quests sooner rather than later. Looks like "later this week" is actually "right now." Lamannia is currently unavailable so we can update it and do the character wipe. I will let you know when Lamannia is back up and running!

I will be switching out the Surveys (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/414630-Surveys!) for ones directed at the U18 Quests and the Bladeforged Iconic.

I apologize for the miscommunication and inconvenience. :(

Unfortunately, there has been a change of plans, so the new Lamannia build will not happen today. We ran into a couple of issues with switching back to the Live version of Enhancements, and we want to resolve them before going to Lamannia. We plan on postponing bringing Update 18 to Lamannia until later this week.

Of course the New Enhancements (and their Surveys (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/414630-Surveys!) and forums) will be available in the meantime.

If Wheloon, Storm Horns, and Iconic Characters are coming in U18...what's left for the Expansion Pack? Level cap increase, "epic TR"?

Things are back on track-ish. While Lama will get a new build today, there will be a couple of bugs:

Some Enhancement tool-tips are wrong (particularly some Enhancements that were changed/removed for the new Enhancement system.)
Some New Enhancements are being stubborn (you might find some New Enhancements automatically appearing in your character sheet.)

Regardless, please bug (http://ddobugs.turbine.com/ics/support/ticketnewwizard.asp?style=classic&deptID=24037) ANYTHING with Enhancements that has not been properly returned to what it is on Live. Thank you!

Tonight's Event (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/416039-Update-18-Event-1-Back-on-Track?p=4996127#post4996127) is also back on as previously scheduled (7pm to 9pm EST [GMT -4].)

The Bladeforged Iconics are not a part of U18. We will be previewing them in addition to the U18 quests.

I interpreted it as U18 is a Prelude to the expansion in U19. A U18 "Web of Chaos" for U19's "Menace"....

Wheloon is a pretty big place, only about 1/4 of it will be accessible it looks like in U 18.

And how are these supposed to work in detail?

How do they interact with TR's for example? Do you start at a higher level when you TR into one? Does it count as a new class (or is it just a new 'race')? If it is a new class what are the past life feats for it?
