Confused about Web of Chaos epic drops

For a long time it was common knowledge that Lords of Dust drops shards/seals/scrolls only on EN. Conflicting rumors spun about Servants of the Overlord and Spinner of Shadows - "drops only on EH and EE", "no scrolls at all", "Servants drops seals and Spinner shards", etc. Is there ANY consensus on this yet?

Over the weekend I ran Servant of the Overlord EH once and Lords of Dust EH twice. Servants run failed in end fight, so I only got Flamefang chest. No seals or shards in any of three runs, scrolls definitely dropped in Servants (forgot to check the bag after LoD), and Maredith chest in one LoD run had Golden Guile -- base item, not the ingredients. I think by now each of my toons can have one :)

I see plenty of scrolls, but haven't yet seen a seal, from soloing Servants on EH (with all optional chests - it's my method of getting 12 epic dungeon tokens quickly...clear quest on EH, invite 5 people, have the requirement for joining being giving up your tokens for free loot).

Then, again, since u14, I really have only seen a couple seals or shards from this chain, period. The drop rates are seriously borked, and unlikely to ever be fixed...which makes me sad, as I'm a seal away from the bow.

I see scrolls on all difficulties. I can't say for certain I've only seen seals on EN, but that's my anecdotal evidence - I'm not tracking it super closely and maybe I've seen a seal or two on EH - but the bulk are on EN.

Well, Turbine DID say they'd work to try and restore my forum account, so I'm really going to have to get used to this one, or whatever new one I have to create when restoring fails. I may be lucky and get my old account back, though. >_>

I personally have gotten only a couple seals, specifically for the axe and the sword, since u14...and I don't even remember where I got them, or what difficulty (last epic item I made from that chain was AFTER u14 came out, but with parts farmed BEFORE it came out >_>).

Also, I'm about 85% sure I've gotten shards from EH.

As an aside, I really do not understand why would anyone grind for Epic Bow of the Silver Flame. There are not many skeletons in Epic content, and basic Bow of the Silver Flame is already a very powerful skeleton-beater -- making it Epic does not do THAT much difference. I prefer to keep mine for leveling.

What I am trying to make is Epic Golden Guile.

Well the wiki says that EH has Problems...
farmed the Servants of the Overlord optional locked chest behind the Lava door on EN... got 2 seals in 7 runs.

I ran LoD over the weekend on EN and got the Double Crossbow Seal from the Cultists Base. I only have one other seal from the chain and its for the Templar's Bullwark, which also dropped on EN LoD.

I have done all the quests on EH and the only drops I got on EH were scrolls. I've done most my completions on EH, since that's what people seem to post due not knowing about the bug. And, it's been hard to convince folks to play EN or EE.

I got one shard from running the chain on EE for the Templar's Bullwark.

Basically I get the best loot from doing the chain on EN or EE. EN so far seems to be the best and I'm tempted to ransack the Cultists Base and Servants tonight. Also, the Spinner's end chest has been good to me as well, both on EN and EE.

I've seen plenty of seals from EN LOD.

I've seen a few shards from EN LOD end chest(though 1 chest vs. 3 for seals).

I've seen a couple shards from EH LOD end chest, but I prefer EN because it has seals too.

I've seen shards from the optionals in EH Servants.

I've seen shards from the end chest of Spinner. Can't remember difficulty.

To add, I've had full ransack runs(8x with 6 people) and have seen no seals, while other full ransack runs I've had 6-10 seals drop, and others where only 2 drop.

I currently believe that drop rates for shards/seals for the whole chain is broken for EH/EE. They are either extremely rare or completely missing. You can get base items on EH/EE, however. Mostly you can see this by running the locked fire chest over and over and seeing a million helms.

On EN, Seals drop in the optional/non-epic chests, and Shards drop in the Epic chest at the end. I believe Shards drop in the drow optional chest that also drops epic token fragments. This means each quest can give you shards and seals for every item in the chain. I most recently got the Seal of the Golden Guile from the locked fire chest in Servants, on EN. No one else got anything the entire run, though, I don't think. For LoD, if you (one person) see one seal/shard every 2-3 runs, you're running well IMHO.

The ritual disruption optional gives 1 full token per person, as does completing the quest.

For the Epic Bow of the Silver Flame, I'm too lazy to make a pos3 bow until I TR...also, I just want it, which is hard to explain. :P
