There's no polishing this turd. Unless you're able to fix everything in about 24 hours, you're risking achieving acronym status. Do you really want to join the likes of the CU and the NGE? Do you really want the Forum Update remembered throughout the web as the "FU"?

And do you really think such a perfectly ironic and cynical acronym WONT catch on on the Internet? :P

Firstly, could you elaborate on the issues you think need fixing? So far I haven't found any.

Secondly, and pardon my ignorance, could you clarify what the acronyms "CU" and "NGE" mean? Thanks.

i think the fact that a huige numebr of us had our forum names disconnected from our login, and then we are expected to take time to go throught their bug reporting process to fix their mess is a pretty good start for a list of issues that need fixing.

CU and NGE were horrible updates to Star Wars Galaxies game that many ppl think killed the game.

BTW- i think FU is an awesome acronym for this change, and for most changes since WB took over Turbine.

There is some irony with your very first post being that you havent found any issues.

Either you are brand new so have nothing to base your judgement on, or you encountered the account/forum name issue and had to go with a new name - which clearly shows there is a problem.

How about not staying logged in.
This is a forum about a MMO. not my bank.

Well, considering the fact that your new login info is the same as you use for entering the game and making changes to your account(read as CC and personal information) I can see the problems I would have with it if the information in my account were up to date. (for some, this is directly related to their banking institution).

I don't care about the name change or rep.
I do however care that some people could have their information used for less than honest reasons.

see, it just proved your point about the log out time being to quick. :)
first post failed on my end, least told me it did.

That does not change the fact that using one username and one password for everything Turbine is a grand idea.
