Details please? :p
I may check that game out myself someday, but still have so many ongoing projects on DDO...

Should have expected this for a soft launch I guess. Couldn't logon for a few hours because of the volume of people wanting to try it out. When that eventually got sorted out and we got in, there was crippling lag and rubber banding all over the place. If you think the lag on ddo is bad, you should see this. We'll see if it improves tomorrow.

Heh, I got it even worse. After about 15 minutes, Neverwinter crashes my router. I have NEVER had an mmo do that before. It did it during the beta weekends and I bugged it, and I had barely made it through the intro quest, when zap... there goes all my internet.
Kill Neverwinter and it comes right back on.
Anybody who claims DDO people are incompetent (and often you make a good case), not even Turbine has done as awful as Neverwinter was this afternoon.

Was 6500 in queue. Now 5500 2 minutes later. Think lag must be so bad people are dropping out after a minute.

Aww hell. Is it really that bad?
I have been downloading the update all afternoon, playing Minecraft while waiting. After a few disappointing, somewhat frustrating, and VERY laggy beta weekends, I was hoping things would be better.
If it comes down to it I'll just claim some toon names and be done with it.

Need I remind you all who is hosting Neverwinter Online? Perfect World Entertainment. If you thought Turbine was screwy and money-grabbing, Perfect World will make your jaws hit the floor. If Turbine is the fake homeless guy on the street trying to get nickles and dimes then Perfect World is a businessman stealing millions from unsuspecting customers. Simply put, Perfect World is known for hosting pay-to-win, generic, Korean grinder MMORPG's.
Trust me when I say you need to stay far away from Neverwinter Online.

I play tested back in December. Trust me... you want to stay far away from NWO. It makes WoW look like the best MMO ever.
*note: I played WoW once. When we had the 3 day down time. When the DDO servers came back online I hit the shout and said *This game sucks. Im going back to DDO*.

I was going to wait a few days, but broke down when I saw there there is yet another "maintenance" downtime for tomorrow.
How many Guild Decays hits is that in the last few weeks?......
In queue now- 3 Shards (servers) each with a waiting line of about 7500. Am currently 4500....
EDIT: Oh tru dat on PW Entertainment. Those guys make Turbine look good on a bad day.

Don't worry, I'm sure they're working on it...
