First off I have a question. Can Premium players post in the Focused Discussions & Feedback forum? For some reason I can't although the note says that premium accounts can post there. (Yes I am premium and this is the forum ID linked to my account.)
And for my suggestion I would like to see a clock (as a toggle option) that tells players if it is day or night is the wilderness areas where this is important, and about how long until until sunrise or sunset. This clock should stay on (if enabled) when not in the wilderness area. (I am assuming that all the areas in question (on a given server) use the same 2 hour RL day/night cycle and timing, i.e. if it is midnight in the King's Forest it is also midnight in the High Road.)

A /time command for the zone you are in would be sufficient for me.
I can tell you right now that different zones/instances have different times of day. If you exit out of High Road, reset the zone, and enter back in, the time will be randomly generated again - you can see this sometimes when the time is notable; sunrise, sunset, night, so forth.

Before you enter, look up. What time is it? You'll find that outside and inside are the same.

I really wish there were a more consistent in game time. It would really add to the immersion if it were night for say a few hours, then daytime. It's one of those little things that doesn't seem like much, but would add quite a lot for me. Same with weather. I'd like to see a 3 hour thunderstorm that carries over into all applicable public and private instances. Hearing the thunder clap and seeing a light flash during a quest in the sewers in the harbor or hearing the rain slapping against the windows in the tavern would just be a delight. Not sure how feasible it would be though. Probably more effort than it's worth.

I want this! Sign me up on the petition!!! :-O Hey Turbine... Everquest has a fantastic day/night/weather feature. I thought you were better than Sony. Can't you give us this??? You know, since we're your biggest fans and loves you completely? *Is the guilt trip working?*

remember when they added rain? its funny how you cant escape the rain going from instance to instance until it stops, even going into a wilderness zone.
I think it would be pretty cool to have a night time too with torches that light up lined up along pathways in town. random weather effects that fit the time of year would be nice immersion.
