Can BtC docent be applied to the iron dog?

I am thinking of Epic Blademark's Docent. Once I apply seal, shard and scroll to it, it becomes BtC. Can I then put it onto my iron defender?

Just to be clear, I only know about the arti pet. That one you can put BTC docents on the dog.
